man. this is supposed to be preseason. Christie and Fox are fighting, Shaq's getting into it, chairs being thrown, players ejected. AND ITS ONLY PRESEASON!

bad bad blood. Seems like things have picked up where they left off. Best rivalry in the NBA.

offensive elbow foul from Fox to Christie. Christie took offense to it and tapped the ball to Fox's face. Fox took offense and pushed Christie away in the face. Christie comes back with a punch. Fight ensues and the guys are ejected. As they each head out to opposite ends of the tunnel, apparently Rick Fox circles around through the back area to where Christie is and they start getting into it there. Then you see all the Kings playes and Shaq and Mark Madsen back at the tunnel trying to break it up and all hell breaks loose. And its only the first quarter :D

damn, anybody besides fox and christie get ejected? how'd shaq end up all the way in the tunnel? were there cameras in the tunnel?

or did the game just go on, then all of a sudden people look to see them fighting in the tunnel

shaq is in street clothes and is sitting with the Lakers. I don't know how he ended up there but he was there trying to break things up. And there weren't really any cameras in the tunnel but one of the further cameras zoomed into the tunnel to show what was going on. Pretty crazy man.

the refs have to share some of the blame for this incident. they made really bad calls in last season's western conf playoffs and the kings were robbed. these guys are only human, and of course there is gonna be bad blood.

Fox had better get a harsher punishment for this...I mean come on, he went out of his way to start the fight again.
It was over until Fox circled around and started things up again.
They both should get punished, but Fox should get more...otherwise the NBA is totally unfair in their decisions.

Apparently Horry and Fox went all the way around and Shaq followed them.

no, of course not, whatever would give you the crazy idea that I was kidding ?

Even though your point was perfectly valid, he was just trying to make you look stupid by offering a sarcastic response to your statement.

w00t I was there :) Man the Lakers were asleep for the 1st half, it took them about 8 minutes to score 10 points.

Shaq in his pajamas was quite a sight.

Staples Center is an incredible facility.

you know if I join CalState Sacramento.. I will have a big delima.. who do I cheer for?

LA Lakers (naturally I am from LA) or the Sacramento Kings (if I go to school there - though I might go to hayward if I find that school better).

Another reason for me to hate the Lakers. They have no class at all. For a second, I thought I was watching WWE. And what's with Shaq'a clothes? He looked like Rerun from What's Happening. It looked like Fox was waiting for Christie and then jumped him. Christie shows he is nothing but a punk. You could see during the fight that Shaq was also shoving people (mostly Vlade). Man the next game between these two teams is going to be interesting. Fox should get at least a 5 game suspension. This was premeditated. There is no excuse for Fox's actions.

If you really have to ask, then just cheer for the kings...the lakers don't need another fair weather fan to cheer them on. The kings are by far a more entertaining and fun team to watch...the lakers, on the other hand, just whine about everything

... so the kings didn't whine all over the summer/playoffs? (we got beat by officiating, we got beat by horry's lucky 3)

any team with kobe and shaq is the most exciting team to watch. who cares about webber and bibby

Kobe is fun to watch. Shaq is only fun to watch if you are a Lakers fan. There is nothing exciting about Shaq's playing abilities.

the only thing that was robbed was games 2 and 5 from the grasp of the lakers. pure bs the way they were calling fouls on shaq

christie threw the first punch, fox shouldnt have even been ejected. both players should be penalized by the league though

other than the fact that he was punched in the face and then HE got ejected? and yeah shaq did look like rerun. the sacramento kings are the ones with no class. lakers play/act like champions - although last nights scuffle between fox and christie was an exception
