I don't think it was too bad but damn are the characters annoying. I hate every one of them. They all suck, and not in a somewhat adorable way. It's like a depressing satire.

I liked the show........there was nothing particularly wrong with the show but nothing really to set it apart. With all the "adult" cartoons out there, it's a surprise it lasted as long as it did. I enjoyed though.

Too bad. There were some truly classic episodes. If you didn;t think the series is funny you should definitely check out the episode on nicotine addiction.

Cannot wait until we can say the same about Family Guy, yes I am sure many of you like that, but it is a worthless show thats only value is to show that Americans are losing their values.

You're a massive dumbass.

ATOT is just the absolutely wrong demographic for the show. Still, the level of hate for it here is somewhat out of hand.

It wasn't that bad at all -- Dale was a hilarious character -- but I can't say I was ever drawn to actually watch it much.

Anyone who thinks it was PRO-redneck is probably way too retarded to properly value the clean burning properties of genuine propane, I tell you whut! 😉

I still find it funny how Mike Judge went from "Beavis and Butthead" to "King of the Hill".

I enjoyed the show, but just got too busy to keep up with it regularly. What Fox really needs to cancel is Seth McFarlane. Family Guy and American Dad both suck and are completely unfunny. Bring back Futurama as a season show, not movies!

How did that last so long and Arrested Development didn't even get to complete its third season? Bullshit, I tell ya. Bullshit.

Because Arrested Development also sucked.

yes yes it did

Arrested development was one of the smartest sitcoms to air in the last 10 years.

It had two big problems,

1. It was a serial program and you had to watch all of the episodes to get the jokes alot of time.

2. there was no laugh track.

It was never going to make it because of the cost and the fact that unlike a show like sienfeld it could not pick up viewers because if you came in half way through it you were lost.

ABC picking up King of the Hill?

There's an outside chance that Fox's canceled veteran animated series "King of the Hill" could reign again.

Sources say ABC, which is rolling out midseason animated comedy ?The Goode Family? -- from ?King? co-creator Mike Judge -- is eyeing the veteran Fox toon.

A spokesman for producer 20th Century Fox TV would only confirm "another network is interested" in the show. ABC had no comment and, to be clear, this is still the discussion phase.

At a time when shows are being renewed while earning modest 2.4 adult demo ratings, the current 13th season of ?King? is averaging a 3.4 -- nearly as much as CBS? breakout freshman drama ?The Mentalist.? Sunday's edition, boosted by "The Simpsons" annual Halloween episode, hit a season high.

While a possible pairing of ?King? and ?Goode? would make a lot of sense for ABC as animated shows perform best when partnered with other animated shows, creating a Judge block could be logistically difficult.

?King? takes nine months to produce new episodes due to the animation work involved. So while ?Goode? is slated for midseason, ?King? wouldn't be ready until next fall. If ABC orders ?King? and ?Goode? flops ? the network is left with an expensive half-hour animated show next fall with no partner. Plus, ABC wouldn't want its "King" to air at the same time as Fox's "King."

One source hinted the network might just opt for a script order -- which would getting the ball rolling on another "King" season, while leaving the network time to test "Goode" on the air.

Another option for "Hill" is to move to cable. But between cost of the show's animation and voice talent, ?King? is considered pricey and likely too rich for a small network, such as Adult Swim.

If ABC were to pick up the show, it would mark the second series to change broadcast networks in the past year -- the first being "Scrubs" move from NBC to ABC. ABC also expressed interest in CBS' "The New Adventures of Old Christine" when the show was on the bubble last year. All three titles are half-hour shows, a format the network has had some difficulty programming.

Me and my gf thought the show was pretty good, we'd watch it whenever it came on. Now Beavis and Buthead..*that's* a retarded show and I seriously wonder the mental capacity of anyone who actually gets enjoyment from watching that.

always wondered how it stayed on while others like futurama got knocked off.

Futurama cost more, since it was a Matt Groening creation. And they were using a lot of digital animation in it, too. Futurama was VASTLY superior to the Simpsons, too. But since the Simpsons are now made in some hidden and dark Asian sweatshops, we still have that mess of a cartoon. And the huge merchandising rights to the Simpson's helps it limp along, season after season, not the quality of it, sadly.

its costs ~6 mill to make a futurama ep
