Rayovac PS1 - not a fast charger, but you can keep the batteries in all the time w/o fear of overcharging, you can charge one at a time if you want, and it's only $10. I got two, keep one full of batteries so they're ready when I need em.

I'm not sure if that's true or not, but I've already gotten 3+ hours of use out of one AA in my Rio 600 and it still shows 80% life left....

Guys....BEWARE!

I have ordered rechargeable batteries MANY times online from different companies with great prices.

I have always received batteries with very LITTLE rechargeability power. A complete rip-off! Apparently, many of these companies send you old, used dried-up batteries.

The best batteries I have used are the ones I buy at my local store--in my case Fry's.

Buyer beware.....in the end you'll end up saving more $$$ buying locally where you see them packaged.

These are not used or old batteries. It is clear from looking at them that they are newly made.

I gave my thoughts on them on page 4, and I believe there is another evaluation or two on that page as well. Overall, I think the price is great, the quality is acceptable, and the service is on the low side of acceptable.

I have just brought some from them, the AA lasts a lot longer than alkline on digital cam, and it lasts about an hour in my flashlight that uses 2 batteries with normal bulb (not MagLight), i dont konw if its good or bad but i expect more though. But the AAA in my palm seems to dropping voltage pretty fast. Now they are 2.5 volt totally, but i guess they should be outputting 2.4 for 2 of them? So maybe is just some false reading of the palm. Ill see when they run out of power and tell you guys about it.

Okie ive tested the AA with my discman, which should last 10 hours with the stock recharable batteries, and these AA dont last as long as the 1000mA panasonic NiCH that comes with my discman (< 10 hours), so i guess the ratings dosent matter, these batteries dont really last that long (at least in my applications, discman, flashlight, palm). Dont mean to thread crap, but i guess you get what you pay for.

I caved in and ordered. It was cheaper to get 2 of the '4 AA with charger' special than 8 AA's alone. I'm getting these to build a battery extender for my ipaq (my current AAA rayovac rechargeables just don't cut it for a battery extender). Let's see how they'll do....

Not sure exactly how to change it but there's a separate battery usage/life curve on the Palms for NiMH batteries which will give you a more accurate estimate of usage.

hehe, my $119 order was shipped today :)

When did you order? My order is still "PENDING".

I ordered yesterday.

If you live in north day (Oakland/SF), then you MIGHT be able to pick it up locally since they are in El Cerrito, CA (about 10 miles north of Oakland)

Did anyone find out if local pickup is an option? I tried looking on their site but they don't have an address. I live in the same city so it would be rediculous to ship!
