DENDERMONDE, Belgium (Reuters) - A man with a white painted face and blackened eyes stabbed to death two infants and a woman and injured 13 at a nursery in western Belgium on Friday before cycling away.

This is one sick person. I feel for the families impacted by this horrible event. Glad that they apprehended him. Sickos like this sometimes make me question my personal stance against the death penalty.:|
 
It really is time to ban knives. The public can obviously not be trusted with them.

I know hindsight is 20/20, and I know we don't have all the details, but I wonder if anyone did anything whilst he was stabbing babies? If someone starts killing babies, you're just going to stand by and let them? OR maybe someone did do something and that's why he hopped on his banana seat and rode away. I would gouge that fvcker's eyes out and then firmly grasp his testicles and twist/pull as hard as I could. Then again, that might be even more traumatic for the kids.

You realize he stabbed other people, perhaps even people who tried to get in his way. He was also armed, and he had shock on his side, this is not something people in a nursery train for, I hate to say it but I am glad that he killed so few because I doubt there was much chance anyone there was able to stop him from doing more.

Its not. Its actually the knife manufacturers fault. The knife lobby is just too damn strong in this country for anything to be done about it though.

It's time to require everyone to carry a handgun. As part of a bailout the government can issue a handgun to every sane person of legal age and this kind of shit would never get very far.
