Yes they can. Hold the kids PARENTS legally responsible.
Make it so these scumbags pay the price for letting their offspring become a problem the rest of us have to fix for them.
My ex and I (and ALL my kids friends parents) managed to keep our kids in check and it required being involved in their lives, rather than smoking crack in the basement and going out drinking.
Safe to say that ANYONE still quoting the liars over at Fox as if they were a legit news reporting agency is clueless.
😕
I have a super conservative friend (well he'd probably just be a normal republican in the US), but this is the sort of thing that always gets to me.
Suppose these kids dont have the support system? Suppose the parents is in as much deep water as their kids?
I get it. Its their own responsibility, land of possibilities, everyone can do it *if they want to*. Its a simple matter of boot straps. Right? If I can do it, everyone else can do it too. And therefor if you're *not* doing it you're a lazy bum.
Wrong.
That's just not the human condition. Its not.
Imagine going to the zoo, and instead of zoo animals its people animals. Subjected to the same conditions you are always going to get the same outcome.
Every. Single. Time.
And that is not a matter of opinion, its a statement of fact. There be massive amounts of literature on the subject in the form of sociology and psychology.
Bottom line, if you want to change the outcome here, you *HAVE* to change the input parameters. Its is the *ONLY* way. - Well thats not true, you can go the Trump way and create camps I guess (his proposal for dealing with homelessness if he's elected 2024).
edit: the only logical conclusion I can arrive at is that these "conservatives" is heavily emotional creatures, cause they're sure as hell not running on logic.
