Seriously if Chicago is willing to accept this type of criminal behavior then God Bless them. I just hope they keep it up there.

They appeared to be like a pack of wild animals loose on the street esp. when they were beating on that woman.

Kinda like the January 6th insurrectionists, except they were 'adults' and they were beating the shit out of cops and US government property

Years and years ago I was at the San Francisco Zoo and watched a very young child throwing rocks with all his might trying to smash a very tame squirrel a few feet away on a tree trunk. Personally I saw a dark future for him. What must he be going through in his life to be that focused on killing. Wild animals are so much better than what we see here. These kids were created by the system we live in.

How were the actions of the white people on Jan 6 any less "animal" the POC causing havoc in Chicago? I notice you only called one "animals". Not surprised just pointing it out for everyone else.

Because that is what they looked like. I saw some white kids in the Chicago groups also. I didn't point out any POC's. You brought that into the mix.

Watched the videos here, that is what sparked the animals comment, beating and robbing random man and woman just trying to go home. If you act like an animal you shouldn't be surprised when you get called one.

As for the January the 6th riots in DC many of them could be described the same way as animals. I only made a brief comment to MrSquished in response to his comment. I didn't think I was going to be graded on my response. Just so we are clear: Both groups were acting like animals for the most part. Not 100% of either group. I was only commenting about the ones committing crimes and out of control.

I hate to use the R word, but OTOH what I like best about racist conservatives is their inability to recognize that using the bad actions of some people to condone bad or even unlawful actions against some other people, solely because all those people happen to share a similar skin tone, is exactly what makes them racists.

As a religious bigot some would call a believer, I made a rookie mistake. I decided not to just to say God exists but to prove He does to boot. That worked out wonderfully well in the end but not in the beginning. I failed and in the process of dismantling every so called proof I could find in Western literature lost all my faith.

What I learned about bigotry in the process is that the reasons that bigots believe is because of unconscious unexamined assumptions I held that lay behind my thinking.

So for me the reason that racists see the world the way you describe above is because a part of their faith that makes it something worth holding to is that they fail to see that behind their views is the idea they accept because it was programmed into them and never examined for validity that whites are superior and blacks inferior people.

Everything falls out of that. Their bigotry isn’t bigotry at all in their eyes but just makes perfect sense. Black people make inferior choices because it is in their nature to do so lacking the capacity to do anything else, whereas whites just make occasional mistakes.

Once a stereotype become an unconscious premise we see what we believe while claiming we believe what we see. This is why people with humility and thus have no need for superiority regarding whatever race they happen to be can, will say, you can tell a bigot but you can’t tell him or her much. Bigots are blind to the fact their beliefs are unconsciously running programs.

Because that is what they looked like.
Pointing out the natural reflexive response to refer to POC as animals and not white people. We can all see it because it isn't your first time. If it makes you feel better, you have other like minded thinking people.

That's all I got.

I didn't "refer" to POC anywhere in my original post. Only after YOU inserted it into the conversation. I only made a broad statement about ALL of those rioters looking like animals. YOU turned it into something that was never intended. Go back and give it a read.

That's all you ever have... When all you have is a hammer everything looks like a nail.

If you can watch those people being beaten and not have a reaction then that's on you. There is no justification.

If that offends you too bad.

I guess you got me. Wait, wait, a quote from a prior post of mine. However, I refuse to acknowledge posts of crime when being used just as a distraction from sources that don't really care. AKA Blue Lives Matter
I have no problem condemning crime no matter the source.

Here I an again refusing to condone violence no matter the source and stating such

Teens behaving badly happens everywhere. I just saw a YT video by Bjorn Nyland a Norwegian EV reviewer (EVs are big in Norway). He was complaining about

Russefeiring

(High School seniors buy or rent crappy vans/busses, drive around the country and party)

They end up with several vans and busses stopping by their neighborhood each year to get gas and use toilets. There are dozens of drunk noisy kids who leave broken glass and human excrement on their sidewalks.

You're attempting to brush away the flow of this thread and what was said here, not what you've said in the past (2020 and 2021). I didn't say that you condoned violence or crime.

I never said shit about Blue Lives Matter either. What does that have to do with the subject at hand or our conversation?

They are called examples to buttress my point. You made the accusation I didn't care about people being attacked. I responded with I condone all crime and gave examples.

I'm sure you misspoke here. I'm sure that you don't "condone all crime".

Accusation not found.

And remember kids, during your next insurrection, fecal play is just part of being a patriot. You’re not an animal

Fecal Play? I'll take your word for it as you seem to be the expert on that subject as much as you like to throw it around.

Right, I meant condemn. Who said I didn't have a reaction? Fox always plays the game of distraction like they care about crime and I decided not to play.

Sick burn bro, but your boy trump and his insurrectionists know all about it. Look it up. I mean, that doesn't make them animals though, nope...not at all.

Nobody said that You didn't have a reaction.

That being said you have no right to grade me on my reaction while making up things that I didn't say. Like the POC Comments.

Here is your quote...
If you can watch those people being beaten and not have a reaction then that's on you.

I never quoted you as actually saying "POC" the pictures clearly show the overwheling mackup of the crowd being POC which is the normal MO of Fox. They will get clips like this and run them on a 24x7 loops to make their viewers think no place is safe from those "animals"

When black people behave in a less then civilized manner they are not human. When white people do the same the epithets are mild. I can't count the times I had back and forth with people using the word "thug" to describe any black person involved in an altercation. The Jordan Davis case comes to mind.

You can choose to ignore the subtle dog whistles used against people like me but I won't. That's why it took a dying Ralph Yarl staggering to THREE houses before someone was willing to help him.
