Kidney Stones

Good luck...I passed one on a job site, thank god for running water urinals at the time. Also for not passing out or crying, I was leaning against the wall to do it. Kidney stones suck. First the kidney hurts...and you think it's your back. Then the pink streaks make an appearance, that's always exciting. Then it migrates to the bladder...for awhile the pain actually disappears while it bobs around. Then it makes the grand exit omgomgowowowowowommg.

edit: I drink tons of grape-cranberry juice now to help.

Drink 10 to 15 ounces of lemonaid every day. It helps disolve them. I had a few stones pass painfully, and then had an ultra sound that showed a cluster of 20 or more. I started on the lemonaid a few years ago and not one has caused me any problem. I like the Simply Lemon brand as it has the highest real lemon.

Vitamin B6:
According to research, pyridoxine or vitamin B6 has revealed an outstanding remedial success in treating kidney stones. In order to achieve a lasting treatment, it is advised to take a regular therapeutic dose of 100 to 150 mg of vitamin B6 combined with further B complex vitamins.Although kidney stones treatments at home are natural and very efficient, consulting your doctor before using them is still recommended
