Why do they change it to French? In Ecuador it's still KFC, even though that doesn't make sense in Spanish.

Silly Quebecois. (No, I don't know the shortcut for that weird c)

Quebec has its own language police. The law of Quebec says the English signs has to be smaller than the French signs. So a lot of companies have 2 version of the name, they use the French name in Quebec.

Yep PFK in Quebec, KFC in the normal parts of Canada. It is also quite often KFC/TacoBell in much of Western Canada.

For the first 20 years of my life, KFC in Ontario here was called Scott's Chicken Villa. The name changed around 1988 to KFC here.

I prefer Manzanilla but Amontillado will do fine thanks!
Just a play on his Poe avatar.

Next thing we know, he'll turn into a Baltimore Ravens fan in ten years and croweth "never more" on repeat due to Cleveland Browns PTSD.

Because he ruminates with a cask of Amontillado.

the 7th grade english lit class where i read cask of amontillado, the raven and the tell-tale heart had long-lasting effects on me

and the poetry class after that turned me into the man, the myth and the legend that i am today

Everything's a little less in Canuckistan. We have a colonel, they have a private first class.
