keysplayr was always open about being an nvidia focus group member so it's not an issue. you can decide for yourself if what he is saying is fair or biased towards to nvidia.

Whether or not it's appropriate isn't for you to decide, is it. Especially when there is an announcement about it at the top of this forum. You've already seen a moderator post in this thread that it belongs in PFI.

Perknose's post is in plain view for everyone to see. This thread doesn't have anything to do with video tech and since it's all about a member/mod it belongs to the PFI forums.
He doesn't need an invitation to post anywhere in the forums. Especially in a thread that it's all about him and that goes for everyone around here.

The reason for the hatred towards Keys was his status as a focus group member, not his status as a moderator.
The moderator-status was just more ammo for the Keys-hater crowd.
Not that I think that if he'd given up his position as a focus group member that the hating would stop. People would just hold his past against him indefinitely.
There's no way he can win. Frankly I'm surprised he even tries.
At least Keys showed some class and maturity in resigning as the video forum mod to try and keep things civil. Something the OP appears to be lacking.

This issue is a dead one, is it not. I made posts where I made my opinion obvious on moderating video and being brand partial, but this is now a moot point.
I'm sure Keys is passionate about video cards and has every right to have a brand preference and participate here in discussion, without being followed and trolled and plagued over something that is now no longer an issue. He certainly has never posted in the manner of some of the truly obvious baiters and shills around here. And has not been like them in posting utter bullshit and passing it off as fact, rather than opinion.
We all have our preferences, I certainly lean more red, even though I use nvidia hardware, because of my dislike of some of nvidia's initiatives.
I think it's a shame that Rollo backlash, even after he is long banned, can still make someone's time on the forum a pain in the ass for them. I think Rollo's deceit and shilling left a bad taste in a lot of people's mouths, and has a lot to do with the wagons circling in this situation.

In my experience, the Rollo backlash has made the AMD camp overly vocal and aggressive... not exactly an improvement over the previous situation.
Case in point: you as a GTX480-owner are free to be critical of nVidia's products and practices, but I as a Radeon 5770 owner am not granted the same freedom to be critical about AMD.
Hey, I know how it works... AMD people still attack me for something I wrote on a blog in October last year, for example.

You guys need to stop the name calling in there - "you're a red fanboy," "no, you're green fanboy." If there's a problem with someone's posting habits, please make a thread in moderator discussions & we'll be happy to discuss it with you & look into it further. IMO Keys should not have resigned his position!!
The other mods should have systematically started going thru posts and eliminating all those who were acting childish!!

From my viewpoint as an outsider looking in...Keys always exhibited class and maturity in the manner that he excersized his moderator status!!
Again just because somebody resigns a post doesn`t mean that previously they were not acting with the best interest of the forums......
