does it make it any better that razer put its branding on it now?

I'm personally interested as well, as i need something with good wrist support. It also makes gaming with a K+B from the couch do-able, so im actually really interested.

Previously owned the N52 Belkin branded model. I loved it only reason i stopped using it, was i quit playing WOW. The size and shape was perfect to my hand. The G13 which is its biggest competitor just seems huge in my hand, and I don't have small hands

Just got mine in today, will get a chance to try it later, but my initial thoughts are i like the design, but i don't like the Matte soft-press keys.
I like the feel of my logitech keyboard right now, but i think the design of the gaming pad will win me over.

You mentioned WoW, i bought it mostly for fps games. good/bad idea?

Well, update to my OP:

Finally got to Fry's yesterday. Ended up getting a Corsair K90 keyboard...feels pretty sturdy, I like the backlighting, and the keys feel good when using them.

Mouse I was going to get the Logitech G400, but it was too small for my hand. They had the G500 and G700 there. I went back and forth between the two, and the G500 fit my hand better, so I got that one.

Thank you all for your help, it's much appreciated!

For Macros, and specific assigned keys this is amazing. Personally I was never a fan of the D-pad on mine for movement though. On the newer models like the razor version they have made it more like a analog stick. This may have improved its functionality, but i have not personally tried it...

I been using it for a couple days now, and im pretty sure im sending it back. Im sure its awesome for MMO's, but the killer for me was the placing of the "space bar."

The whole reason i bought this was that i was planning on using it as a smaller-half of the keyboard i needed, with awesome wrist support. I was hoping on at least using this to really adjust to PC controls, which would make my transition from gamepad to keyboard a little easier.

The feel of it isnt awful, and i could probably get used to it, but i really wish that wrist support was adjustable to different distances from the keys. The absolute worst and the deal breaker is the space bar to jump though..

I thought the placing of it looked decent in the pictures, but it is nowhere near the space bar on a regular keyboard. using it to jump was virtually impossible, and the button and joystick both just seem unnatural.

The G13's buttons for space (and jump for me), dont look any better, so it looks like ill be sticking with a traditional keyboard. I actually like my G110, which has the same design as the g15/19, but i just need a wrist pad or something.

BTW, Leopold boards on sale at Elitekeyboards right now. They are about the best you can get if you don't want extra keys and stuff tacked on.

Corsair K90 keyboard died a couple of days ago with not much use (I don't use the desktop much). Lights up, none of the keys work. USB ports on motherboard work fine. Couldn't even get into BIOS so it's not a Windows issue.

Corsair so far has been quick on RMA response, has asked me to send it back. Will see how that goes...
