Kettlebells

A friend of mine got me a kettlebell for my birthday. (yeah, I know, should have 2). It's thirty pounds and for some reason it feels like fifty. This is awesome.

I don't have a specific question, just the usual "anyone use/any advice" stuff.

I love me some kettlebells. I would own one but they're very expensive. We have them at my gym, though, and I use them as much as possible. Nothing gets my heart pumping like some high-rep swings with a 1.5 pood.

Yeah, I've been using it, curls and one-armed military press and just swinging it around, and it is awesome. I heartily recommend them.

Find a good book or some good videos on youtube, as with anything else in fitness, good form is paramount. turkish getups FTW. I intend on buying a few after I finally settle into my new apartment...probably a month or so.
