Okay, that isn't the important part. It seems to be a slow news day so I thought I'd point something out that's a little 'funny'. Go to Drudge and look at the picture of Kerry and then read the title of the article. That's a pretty funny play on words I guess.

Real news today would be appreciated.

*EDIT* Okay, he's already edited his title. Now there's a bit before he throws out the subliminal 'Kerry Does Iowa' portion. wtf 😛

Aw shucks Cad, I thought you knew that shucking corn is strictly for conservative farmer-wannabees?

The liberals know you can buy pre-shucked corn in the supermarket, so why bother? Furthermore, conservatives shucking corn are able to harken back to an age when perhaps they were the farmers, working the land, substaining the people, living an honest life. That bygone era, when women were tending the pot roasts in the kitchen, abortions were illegal and gay meant extraordinarily happy.

Actually I prefer it straight off the stalk when it's not quite fully ripened. Then again beans and peas are best straight off the plant too. Mmmm...nothing beats walking beans and being able to eat at the same time.
