This is not a war on Islam, nor their culture, they are GOOD people too. There are extremists in every culture and nationality and the whole religion should not be looked down upon because of what the minority have done. Example: The KKK, a number of messed up white people. Should the world look down on everyone that is white cause there are a few jackasses that think they are superior? Your prejudice is not welcome here by me, and probably some fellow members here.
Didn't you hear... the unabomber was an Islamic Fundie?

The truth of the matter is, if you listen carefully, Saddam would still be in power if he were the President of the United States, and the world would be a lot better off."

Meaning that Saddam would be in power and the world would be better off according to kerry if he were President.

General Franks said it even better Retired Gen. Franks Criticizes Kerry :

"If his voting record ruled the day, Saddam Hussein (news - web sites) would not only be running Iraq but Kuwait," Franks told about 200 people Sunday at a Reno rally.

A "nuisance" is a hang nail, not 3,000 slaughtered on our own soil. A "nuisance" is getting caught at a red light and you're running late, not suicide bombers blowing up one of our navy ships. A "nuisance" is losing your remote control, not hearing about another American getting beheaded.

Mr. Kerry, you're a fucking idiot.

Nope...it's a dead-on accurate statement.

Or, are you as insane as the PNAC ideologues in that you think terrorism will be 100% wiped out?

sorry conjur but his statement is a load of crap, how prey tell do you or he suggest we get people in a mindset where terrorists are a mere second thought after something like 9/11, or are you and he so quick to forget...sorry but until people think nothing of 9/11 then terrorism being nothing more than a nuisance is a fleeting wish at best....he should consider putting down the crack pipe and actually talking about reality for a change.

Are you so quick to forget that Bush said he doubted we could win the war on terrorism? How does that statement work for the 'mindset' you mention?

yup, in an rare moment of honesty he said that he thought the war could never be won.

its like a war on crime, you can only minimize it to a nuisance. erradication is beyond our means.

Mr. Kerry, you're a f*cking idiot.

Nice way to defeat the filter but that WHOOSH sound was Kerry's point sailing over your head.

BTW, I guess you think Scowcroft is an idiot, too?

[Brent] Scowcroft is confident that the war on terrorism can be won, in the same way the war on organized crime can be won. "There will not be a treaty signed aboard the battleship Missouri, but we can break its back so that it is only a horrible nuisance and not a paralyzing influence on our societies."

BERNARD KERIK, FORMER NEW YORK CITY POLICE COMMISSIONER: A nuisance didn't kill the 23 people that worked for me, the 37 Port Authority cops, the 343 firefighters, the 2,400 civilians in the towers. A nuisance didn't do that.

And Kerry isn't saying that a nuisance did.

The point of his statement is sailing HIGH over your head.

In typical liberal fashion conjur likes to argue points that haven't even been made. Like it provides some sort of legitimacy to his/their thought process.
