The Olsen girl is ill but as for the other newly very svelte actresses, the deal is this, most clothing for movies/tv shows is basically donated by designers/garmet makers in hopes of garnering publicity and sales. The clothing given is usually sample sizes, for awhile it was a sample size 6, then a 4, then a 2... well it's down to size zero.

Woe to the actress who can't zip up come fitting time... I suspect the rash of newly thin celebrities is probably related to their desire to work.If it's known that you can't fit into the wardrobe nobody's going to hire you.

I was briefly a size 4 for a couple months,I'm currently a size 6... which is considered obese by fashion industry standards, however I just totally lack the willpower it seems to get and keep myself that small.

It's amazing how Hollywood's starndards are so out of alignment with the rest of society. I don't know many guys who like women with scarecrow frames.

Lola

in all honesty, she doesnt look as bad as other celebs that got themselves thin (i.e. Calista Flockheart). She looks good, and there is nothing wrong with be svelt. I am not saying its good to sickly thin, but there is nothing wrong with being thin.

I take offense when people say how thin i am just as a heavy person would take offense if someone said they were fat.
It goes both ways.

If you can see her ribs.. You're loooking too low...

Ah sorry, just saw the pics. The ribs in between her breasts are somewhat gross looking.

I beg to differ. Putting your body through that much torture to get there may leave you with a significantly reduced immune system. It leaves you with little or no muscle. You think that's "nothing wrong"?

Those pics are far too crappy to see what she is like, unless the pics.bb pic is better. I personally like the thin, hard appearance. I like the look of somebody who's put time into themselves and has achieved something most lack the ability/gumption to achieve. I'm not saying lohan, who needs a burger, but I admire somebody who's got the tenacity to hit the gym hard and consistently.

Your rib bones aren't showing.

awwww, Dave, you're such a sweety.

wait... that was a compliment, then, was it not?

Lola, that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. With all the bullsh|t pounded into everyone's head in society about how unless you're sub 90 lbs, you're extremely obese and need to kill yourself, I find it impossible for anyone to be considered too skinny. You see fat people in the news all the time about how the US is so fat. You never see a news story devoted to the millions who are almost literally skin and bones.

Our fvcked up society wants it that way.

oh come off it, you elitist. There's nothing wrong with the quality of those pictures. No, they're not 298475o2183741893741035 megapixels with UV lenses and all that crap, but you can perfectly see what's wrong with her. Jesus, it's like you're blind or something.

OK, then I don't see what the fuss is. Pic 4 shows that she has some arms left, so she's no rail. Ribs? Yes, she has some, but for a woman to get to a fairly low body fat that's unavoidable, and it doesn't mean she's too thin, but a a taut bodyfat a woman carries very, very little fat around their upper body.

Granted, she looks a bit gaunt, but those pictures are blurred. The main problem I see is that she's incredibly flat. The only way around that is to either put on fat or get implants. Personally I'd recommend the latter approach.

She used to have a decent rack, the fact that she lost it suggests she lost way too much body mass (fat), period.

She did, but I don't think it suggests that at all. If you're FAT and you have a good rack it doesn't mean that you shouldn't lose weight. She wasn't fat, but any time a woman gains/loses fat she will gain/lose her rack. That's just how it is. There's no magic point at which point the rack suddenly disappears, and putting on two lbs it will all come back.

It's very difficult to achieve the ideal, which is slim with large breasts. It can be done by almost no women naturally without getting implants, because when they lose the fat to hit the right fat levels they lose their chest as well.

there's a middle ground point between fat and being so thin that your bones hang out.I got down to being really small last year and my chest area looked terrible, you could see my ribs.I went on hormones this past winter and gained around 7 pounds and I look and feel so much better. My chest came back and my face looks better and I have more energy.
