Kazaa lite just stays on the connecting phase, it never connects. what can i do about this?

KaZaA can get you LOTS LOTS LOTS LOTS of trouble, ya know?

Plus it contains spyware. Threadstarter, do you know what spyware is?

kazaa lite supposedly doesn't have spyware.

Bittorrent is a peer to peer file distribution system; granted it works differently than direct P2P clients like Kazaa.

But it IS P2P indeed, like Pontifex said.

And though many people whine about WoW using torrents to distribute patches, I think it's actually the best method for massive distribution. Imagine 5 million+ WoW players all trying to download the patches at the same time...all their servers would implode.

I always try to use torrents to get new Lynux distros instead of using direct downloads from servers. It's too bad most people use them to get Hentai or warezed software.
