You know that P2P is for legal purposes although most people use for illegal purposes...
1% legal 99% theft.

Anyone asking for help with Kazaa is almost certainly in the 99% not trying to P2P linux ISOs 🙂

Just give the OP the benefit of the doubt 😉

KaZaA can get you LOTS LOTS LOTS LOTS of trouble, ya know?

Plus it contains spyware. Threadstarter, do you know what spyware is?

kazaa lite supposedly doesn't have spyware.

So is Kazaa Lite spyware or not? Some people posting comments here say so.

The last time I checked it did not contain malware. Neither does Limewire.

Supposedly you shouldn't P2p at all. Especially with Kazaa.

why not?
P2P is not illegal. Blizzard uses it for its updates for WoW.

BitTorrent actually.

is bittorrent not P2P?

Bittorrent is a peer to peer file distribution system; granted it works differently than direct P2P clients like Kazaa.

But it IS P2P indeed, like Pontifex said.

And though many people whine about WoW using torrents to distribute patches, I think it's actually the best method for massive distribution. Imagine 5 million+ WoW players all trying to download the patches at the same time...all their servers would implode.

I always try to use torrents to get new Lynux distros instead of using direct downloads from servers. It's too bad most people use them to get Hentai or warezed software.
