Kayaker finds dog in water, owner killed by drunk driver

hmm so was the dog thinking it's safer for his paw to get help somewhere in the water?

What I read somewhere else is that they think the dog freaked out and tried to get as far away from the accident as possible. Once it hit the water, it just kept going.

Look right above you for the perfect explanation. The owners were both kayakers and they happened to have yellow kayaks. When one owner was killed, the dog made a bee-line for what he thought was the other owner in a yellow kayak. He had to be totally heart-broken when he got out there and found a stranger instead.

Fucking drunk drivers...I hope to hell that Florida manslaughter laws give the option of life in prison. DUI Manslaughter should carry the same penalty as 1st degree murder.
