The question was asked "besides you attorneys did you discuss how to take a polygraph". Clearly that question was in context of taking a test before her testimony. The ex described 1992-1998 waaaaaaaaay before any of this was considered. According to him she gave advice as someone who has a background in psychology. That has nothing to do with the test she took 26 years later.

Well, here is her testimony from the hearing:

MITCHELL: Have you ever had discussions with anyone, beside your attorneys, on how to take a polygraph?

FORD: Never.

MITCHELL: Had — have you ever given tips or advice to somebody who was looking to take a polygraph test?

FORD: Never.

That is from the transcript. So, in the event it can be proven she has done otherwise, she has perjured herself. So, there is valid reason to investigate her ex's claims and I'm sure they will be.
The ex has made a written declaration. So, if she lied about that, what else did she lie about? We need to get to the bottom of all of it and now, unfortunately, she is going to be more scrutinized than she had probably counted on.
