Perhaps -Deb Fischer (NE), Martha McSally (AZ) , Marsha Blackburn (TN) or Cindy Hyde-Smith (MS) will join the Judiciary Committee as soon as they are elected.
Who knows, it may help when President Trump replaces Justice Ginsburg.
You Republicans are like bad husbands. You need us anti-american Dems to tell you don't ignore your own women.

Too bad, 27 years too late

If Kavanaugh really wants to clear his name then volunteer for a lie detector test. If he tells the truth he will pass. If he is a convincing liar he will pass. If he was in a drunken blackout he will pass.

If I had to guess he probably already took one and failed.

Predicting a response, this isn't a court of law.

Gosh, who needs hearings or trials or anything else anywhere? We'll just use polygraphs to get to the bottom of every single contention that ever comes up. It's like we have Wonder Woman's Lasso!

You read the part where if he convincingly lies, he still passes the polygraph, right?

Is there a bottom depth to your prideful ignorance?

With all the lying that goes on in politics, why not?

Unless you can question these people under oath they seem to always get away with lying.

In this case it would tip the preponderance of evidence in favor of the truth teller. Ford already passed so give one the Kavanaugh. If he passes we drop the case unless another victim comes forward or there is new contradictory evidence.

There's no way i'd agree that she "passed" a lie detector test without having the list of questions, her answers and who administered it.

It would only be a former FBI agent

Because everyone knowns polygraphs don't magically tell lies from truth.

Unless you can question these people under oath they seem to always get away with lying.

Exactly, so let's get Kavanaugh and Ford under oath and get cracking. Kavanaugh seems a lot more willing to go under oath than Ford does.

Why do we need evidence? Just administer a polygraph.

Trump HUD Secretary Ben Carson claims Kavanaugh allegations are part of a centuries old socialist plot

Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Dr. Ben Carson told an audience of conservative activists on Friday that the sexual assault allegations facing President Donald Trump's nominee to the Supreme Court are part of a plot by socialists to take over America that dates back more than a century.

"If you really understand the big picture of what's going on, then what's going on with Kavanaugh will make perfectly good sense to you," Carson said at the annual Values Voter Summit in Washington. "There've been people in this country for a very long time, going all the way back to the Fabians, people who've wanted to fundamentally change this country."

The term "Fabians" refers to the Fabian Society, a British socialist organization that was founded in the 19th century, and which today functions as part of the UK's Labour Party. An American chapter of the Fabian society was established in 1895 in Boston, but it is no longer active in the United States.

I am enjoying watching the premature suicide of the GOP being played out on TV and Social Media... It will be a testament for future generations and a living record of what NOT to do to stay alive ... No what should have taken appx 20 more years to accomplish due to live births is being pushed up by the crazy GOP accelerant they keep tossing on the dumpster fire. Opposition to this nominee and their BS is unprecedented... The sleeper has awakened...

Tick tock tick tock

In some ways, Mitch McConnell reminds me of Isoroku Yamamoto.

Dastardly conduct, dutifully igniting a firestorm that will only result in his eventual defeat.

You have awakened a slumbering giant turtle boy, you shall find a vengeful voting female behind every blade of grass.

If they want to use a professional to handle the question(s), in what I assume to be a more respectable manner, then my point is: why shouldn't they?

Because we didn't elect some random lawyer to represent us. Exactly what are the American people paying senators for if not to do their job. If they aren't capable of having an impartial hearing in order to gain insight into a supreme courts nomination then perhaps they should resign and allow someone else who can handle the job do it.
