How is this Breaking News? People die all the time. Famous people die all the time too. She was 96, she lived past the average lifespan anyway. Unless she was murdered or something I don't think it should be on the front page of CNN.com.
She was kind of an "icon" of a different age.
No she was not better than anyone else, but she left a legacy of films that is going to be tough to beat.

My personal favorites are "The African Queen" and " Guess Who's Coming to Dinner".
Go rent one of those at BB, and if you don't like it, I will personally refund your $3.

🙂

She was one of the truly great actresses.

She will always be remembered as on of the true ladies of Hollywood. She had class and poise.

:brokenheart::frown:

A toast :wine: to one of the Silver Screen's finest.

I loved On Golden Pond, and I just saw Bringing Up Baby on AMC a couple weeks ago. Great flicks.

RIP. 🙁

Her death is a real loss. Go pickup a copy of The Lion In Winter and watch it. Damn good movie!!!

Absolutely one of the best movies ever. The synergy between Hepburn and O'Toole is magic. I dont think I have seen two actors loathe yet love each other like they portrayed Henry and Eleanor.

Also notable for an early appearance of Anthony Hopkins.

Sad, sad day.
