I don't like 50's content. Kanye raps about everyday stuff that many can somewhat relate to. 50 is too hardcore for me and I can't identify with his music. Kanye just has a broader appeal/range.

I generally hate rap/hip hop, but Kanye makes it tolerable for me.

Kanye content wise is more similar to outkast. But I don't think he is even in the same league as them either.
