I don't see how anyone with an ear for hip hop music in all its forms can say kanye's is better than 50s. thats just crazy. Kanye has great songs on it but there are 30% I could do without completely and I skip right over.

I don't like 50's content. Kanye raps about everyday stuff that many can somewhat relate to. 50 is too hardcore for me and I can't identify with his music. Kanye just has a broader appeal/range.

I generally hate rap/hip hop, but Kanye makes it tolerable for me.

Kanye content wise is more similar to outkast. But I don't think he is even in the same league as them either.
