Um, no. The thread was changed because of moderator bias, then locked because of disscussion of said bias derailed the OP. And now you come in here and start that disccussion up again after I did not mention it at ALL???
In both threads the title was part of MY commentary. You are not my editor nor the keeper of the "truth" as you see fit... no matter how much that tears you and a certain friend up.
I'll let Harvey's rebuttal speak for itself, that you stated as fact something that was merely an allegation. I will point out that I wasn't originally fond of changing people's topic titles, even when they were dishonest, simply because it provides an early warning to the OP's character and objectivity. It seems to me this really grew as an issue as a certain group of whining righties learned they could often get threads locked, or at least derailed, by screaming about titles. I'm curious if you ever spoke up to condemn their push for "censorship"?
And your last paragraph is a fucking joke. The board's act of reinstating him PROVES his firing was due to his political beliefs AND my original thread title commentary. ...
And this is where you demonstrate you are either clueless or dishonest. The act of reinstating him proves ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about the basis for his dismissal. As someone who's been in management for many companies for many years, I can tell you it is most likely nothing more than a demonstration that employers are highly sensitive to the risk of wrongful termination lawsuits and that the school recognizes they didn't dot all their i's and cross all their t's.
As I have pointed out repeatedly, we really have no idea why he was actually released because the school isn't talking, and likely never will talk. That leaves Latham free to claim whatever he wants. Maybe it truly was due to his political beliefs. Maybe he molested his students. Maybe he's just an incompetent asshat. Likely it is a combination of several factors. There are thousands of reasons people lose their jobs, and it is quite common for the jilted employee to be less than fully forthcoming about his own termination. If you're not honest enough or savvy enough to recognize that just because it suits your ideology, there's no point in considering anything else you might say.
