Looking at the state of Florida as a whole, I think anyone who gets elected from there is in it for the money and power. I don't think Rubio has principles.

Has Rubio ever expressed interest in money and power?

Fossil fuel executives sure think so.

Presumably this is all "old news" to everyone here, but, God, what a POS (both this guy and Musk - who seems to be employing the same geographical trick that his fellow Trumpists in the "middle name" thread have)

I've always considered him as punchable as Ted Cruz, guy is such an epic douche.

It probably will be him, watch. He's got the criminal cred befitting Putin's second remote term for sure.

Lol I saw a blurb from Mike Johnson about how he spoke with Trump and it was understood that he shouldn't pull from the House to staff up his admin and Trump's just doing it anyway.
The sooner the GOP loses the House the better for them. They can go back to blaming Democrats for blocking their policy changes instead of failing to find enough votes among their own for anything but tax cuts for billionaires.

Steve Schmidt has been posting The Warning virtually (maybe actually) daily for months. If you're curious what he's saying now, here it is:

why is it only bad when Democrats say one horrible thing and Republicans are allowed to blurt out this nonsense daily?
Because the party of "fuck your feelings" acts in the most emotional ways possible and they don't realize it? Their platform is literally all about fear: fear of illegals, criminal illegals, fear of "if they can do it to me they can do it to you", fear of women being equal to or surpassing men, fear of foreigners coming and working hard and taking some of what they have away, fear of fags and queers and men dressed like women using a bathroom in front of their kids, fear of someone in need getting some of their tax money because they can't pull themselves up by the bootstraps, fear of losing their phallic symbols that go bang, fear of some god they don't really care about until they are on their deathbed, etc.

I'm sure I missed a lot.

I do have to say once again that Turmpists are the absolute angriest winners I've ever seen. Like you got it and somehow you're even more unhinged than before.

I think you're not reading them correctly. They don't wanna win, they want to destroy!

Just having things still standing up makes them rage endlessly as it's a constant reminder of how they've failed!

It's IMO very likely to get worse, a lot worse. Is there a breaking point?

Liz Cheney was the THIRD highest ranking Republican until she spoke out against Trump trying to overthrow democracy. Her name was indeed respected by Republicans. Her name wasn't Dick.
How respected could she be if she lost her re-election bid in a landslide?

They went silent on 2024 election fraud conspiracies after their guy won but now they are going back to 2020 with new election fraud conspiracy theories. There is no doubt they have brain worms that have eaten the critical thinking part of their brain.

Not entirely silent as they have invented a new bespoke kind of election fraud conspiracy where Democrats stole the down ballot races (except for the ones the Rs won) but apparently forgot to steal the Presidential. Savoring the stream of incredible idiocy like a fine wine.

Yea, I have seen a lot of social media posts implying the 2024 vote for Kamala is the "real" democratic vote, and that Biden's 2020 total was inflated due to fraud. I mean, give it up, your guy is back in. What more do you want?

That's... well, a creative approach.
