Effectively countering the Rep lies is part of it. Equally important IMO is projecting effectively the policies of the Dems that will help the middle class and working class. Quit emphasizing identity politics, obviously it didnt work in this election because Kamala lost ground in every group except African Americans. Kamala had proposals in her platform to help the middle class, but it was directed to certain groups like families with children and first time homeowners. Hey, dems, did you know that nearly 50% of the families (edit, should have said "households", i.e. single people and families without children in the household) have no children living with them? How about doing something for them too? Inflation is hurting everyone. And ultimately, Kamala didnt really emphasize how she would help the middle class. Her rhetoric toward the end reverted to the talking points of reproductive rights and how awful Trump is. We already know the Dems are for this, and that Trump is a horrible human being.
