Her too. Garland needs to go. Clearly his best role was SCOTUS. If you recall, his was the seat stolen from Barack Obama. I would have said if Harris wins and Alito/Thomas retires give him the seat but he is too old. Not because he really is but to fix the court long term we need someone younger.

Garland is a bit of a victim here. Biden tried to throw him a bone and it was a bad pick.

Alito/ Thomas retiring? LOL

C'mon use some common sense.. they'll try and outlive a harris presidency or just try to terminate it before it comes into power.

These are not nice people you're talking about!

Rogan says that Harris has been invited on the show but there are disagreements about where and how long the appearance should be. Rogan wants to do it in Austin for 2-3 hours, Harris wants him to come to her and do an hour.

I think if she does it that she goes to him but the duration gets cut to maybe 1.5-2 hours. She's headed out west on the 31st and could make the stop in Austin.

Neither of them have heard of Video-conferencing?

Yeah I know. Greater chance one will die in office but it would be bad juju to wish for that. I will just keep my fingers crossed.

If Harris wins and Dems maintain the Senate I think Sheldon Whithouse will get his SCOTUS reforms through. Maybe that will prompt Thomas to leave.

Neither Trump or Harris is going back to Michigan before the election. My personal vibe is that MI/PA are probably in her column. WI was the narrowest win of the 3 and will be bitterly fought over till the end. Though if she manages any other swing state in addition to those two she wins.

I dumped mine a few years ago. I do not miss it
It would make no sense for me. I seldom spend enough money at Amazon to warrant paying for Prime, and the times I had Prime (the freebies and one stint for a year) I found approximately ONE video to watch for free. The others were for $$$ and IIRC, I'd have had to pay the same $$$ whether I had Prime or not. I am almost never in a big hurry, so expedited shipping times does not move my needle. Plus, I bear grudges against Amazon.

Prime video’s discovery is just trash. The home page is more designed to get you to sign up for additional streaming content then surface things you want to watch. It’s such a horrible UX.

Trump is doing some unscheduled presser at Mar A Lago soon. We'll see if it is just usual the rambling/grievance spew or if he's gonna try to address the MSG stuff. His history on trying to manage the fallout from things like this is uh checkered at best.

I see Michigan now as a narrow win for Harris - and it will only be because Kennedy is on the ballot stealing ~2-3% of vote from Trump. Trump is ahead on most polls now that are head-to-head, but losing when 3rd parties are included.
I see Pennsylvania as a toss-up still. And Jill Stein has a good chance of stealing another election for the Republicans here (with an assist from Oliver) by being on this ballot ~ but team Trump's extreme racist hate rally, with anti-Puerto Rico comments this week (plus Bad Bunny endorsement of Harris) may save the state for Harris.

- Although both are still within margin of error.

Michigan was Biden's best swing state by margin in 2020. I think that is likely to repeat for Harris.

He keeps going back to Mar a Lago at least partly because he can sleep there. He's kinda a home boy that way. He's undisciplined. He can't do anything by intention other than spew vitriol. So, he may have ideas of a purpose, but it will devolve into same ole, same ole. I never expect anything but trash out of his mouth, anywhere, any time.

Agree, I wouldn't be surprised if that repeats - but it also may be her only swing state if current polling trends are accurate (which of course they aren't, but we don't know by how much and in which direction)

He famously hates traveling west of the Mississippi because it makes it impossible for him to get home to his own beds in NY/FL. Apparently he basically does not sleep otherwise.

It's just my opinion based on what I read and have been seeing of district polling. No obvious signs of weakness for her.

Some polls here are showing 350 for the nazi party.. rigged as fuck. Then there's other ones that show Texas is in play and Kam is leading by +7 nationally..

My advice ignore the polls and just go vote and work hard to convince others who can be convinced.. this last week.. quite a few tune in.

Yep, I haven’t touched it in years. Glad to know it hasn’t changed at all. I keep prime around because I do find quite a bit of deals on there. But we’ll see if I renew when the time comes

There's a dilemma, really, in that it feels distasteful to hope for someone's death (and is also probably against some kind of etiquette for civil discourse, or just forum rules, to speak of such things). And yet as long as Supreme Court Justice appointments are for _life_ there's really no other way to address a wish for someone to be gone. God's term limits are the only "term limit" they have. There ought to be a special dispensation to the normal rules of civilised commentary when it comes to absolute monarchs, undemocratic despots, or Supreme Court Justices.
