Donald Trump is the worst of us.
- He not only commits serial adultery with playmates and porn stars, but brags that he can do anything he wants to women.
- He not only commits billions in tax fraud, he claims that makes him smart.
- He not only cheats in elections, but he denies and attacks when he loses them.
- He not only failed at the pandemic response, he lied it was even coming.
- He not only dodged the draft, he calls those who didn't suckers and losers.
- He not only hates those who are different from him, but he also mocks them and bullies them to no end.
Utterly self-obsessed and proud of it.
Trump is all of our worst instincts personified. He gave permission for his followers to give in to theirs as well. Many have embraced it...screaming about masks, dehumanizing immigrants, worshiping assault weapons, attacking the Capitol when they are mad, and on and on and on. As a result, this election is indeed about good vs evil. Better angles vs demons. We need Trump to lose the election, but more importantly, to lose his influence over our nation's moral and ethical codes.

Angels vs. Angles. That had me reminisce about watching these two older guys (they were in their late teens while I was pre-teen) where both were sniffing glue on the porch of the hangout and one was doing a prison style tattoo job on the other. It was sooo interesting to me to see how it was done, I watched the whole process until the end where ice was being applied to the tattoo and both of them were admiring the body art they created. So I had to take a look at it, saw that it was written in stylized cursive and realized at the same time the tat was honoring a really popular song at the time by the title of "Teen Angel". Even at that young age, and given the circumstances of which that tat job was done, I realized the letters "E" and "L" were reversed and barely caught myself from telling them about it knowing I'd get the crap beaten out of me if I did, until one of the other older guys ( a very serious scary looking dude) took a look at it and kept laughing until he was crying.
Yep, both Texas and Florida have laws against price gouging.
The difference is when Republicans do it, it is all good - but when Democrats propose it, it is all bad.

Most of the Unions guys I have know or worked with know they have to vote Democrat they don’t like it but they know.

Couple that with Trump and Elon laughing about busting strikes lol. I understand that rank and file union members may be more culturally closer to MAGA these days but if they decide to trade away their political power in exchange for absolutely nothing the Democrats are not going to be picking up the phone when it, of course, goes sideways for them.

NY Times readers' comments to "OPINION" pieces reveal that they are more attuned to goings on than many of the columnists. Maureen Doud's pieces a case in point. Honestly, IIRC, Joe said something like a couple weeks before he bowed out that he thought that several other Democrats could beat Donald. He also said that if he was shown data that indicated that his chances were not good, he'd bow out. People reinvent things to suit themselves, Ms. Doud a case in point.

The amount of effort they put into doing shit like that is pretty impressive, dumb as hell but they sure are dedicated. I love how over the top his post was using the word black far too many times.
