There is no Cabinet, Department, Administration or Agency of Silly Talks, so ......

Maybe Ambassador To Venezuela?
Well, since Trump is “threatening” to move to Venezuela if he loses, make RFK his home arrest keeper/officer. Gotta have Trump fulfill his sentencing coming in Sept.

F that anti-vaxxer.
I didn't say I like the guy lol I'm just reacting to the rumors that came out. I think either way if RFK runs as an independent he'll steal votes from both Trump and Harris, at what percentage I couldn't guess.

The Economist has relaunched its model, and they're discounting the latest polls as a potential "sugar rush" for Harris. For now, they're calling it a toss-up:

Polls have been and will continue to be shit. It's never not been a toss-up. Was in 2016, was in 2020, definitely is in 2024.

Register to vote. Recheck your registration. Encourage non-fascist allies to register and vote, offer to give them a ride to the poll, early voting preferably.

Vote.

Every single poll you see is 100% irrelevant to counted votes.

WARNING LONG POST

You're panicing because you're seeing:

Earlier we used to argue about what form of taxation and where it was spent.. you used to always get pushback against the Affordable Care Act or Child Tax Credit and more money to be spent on money to Israel or the Military Industrial Complex or some wars.

More or less the left has won on that since even the right wants ACA and money for Child tax credits over the forever wars. They haven't given up on Israel completely though.

Currently the concept on right vs left is changing.. changing into social policies over economic policies.

There were always a few blacks ultra conservatives that didn't like being grouped with the LGBT community. There were always a few anti vaxxers that didn't like being grouped with mandatory Biden stab juice. There were always a few muslims that didn't like being grouped with pro-israeli or pro-lgbt dems.

Conversely there were always a few never trumper pro constutional conservatives that didn't like being grouped with Trumpers. There were always a few who cared about their drug prices and social security that didn't want it taken away. There were always some anti-Russia, anti-Chinese that didn't want to sell away their country to Putin or Xi.

So there's give and take on both sides but not everyone is sold on the change. Some just become jaded and after 50 years of hating the other side, can't bring themselves to vote for them even though they might call themselves a hardcore righty but in today's world they're moderate left and vice versa.

The right is clearly heading for ultra nationalist, authoritarian fascism based Christian ultra religious country while the left for the most part seems to be becoming "conservative" - I puke at the term but they really want their voting rights and their privacies respected instead of go progress into full fascism.

Who will win out? What will it be? Kamala Splash or MAGA Salvation??

And we just don't know.. because people haven't made their mind up.. or are in denial about what's really happening. I'm not afraid of RFK voters though.. they are just Trump voters. It's about if Kam can pull enough from Cornell West and enough never trumpers, former republicans and done with trumps.

I dont know dude, where is the data supporting this assertion? All I see is Harris/Walz still taking on momentum, Trump now trailing behind.

I'm not panicking at all lol. I'm just making conversation about an upcoming election. I honestly thought Biden would still have won, now with Harris I really don't see her losing to be honest. I'm uplifted by all of the positive energy her campaign is bringing, which is probably why RFK wants to be a part of it, he can see the opportunity.

I just hope it carries through the debates and into the voting stage. I really don't see anything the Republicans can dig up to disparage Harris or Walz and right now and their name calling and personal attacks will get old even to the die hard Trumpanzees I think.

Edit: the worst thing that could happen is the economy. Any downturn or recession would play right into the only thing the Republicans could really use, and that might sway enough dumbasses to vote for the orange turd again. My sister in law is reliably a Democrat, but she and some of her friends grumble about inflation and costs, and they think they had it better under Trump whether it is true or not.

My point was there is a re-alignment so polls are total shit. Can't trust em!

You could be totally right. It is fun to see the same MAGA pollsters panicing though and they generally give Trump a good bump in the polls.

If it was between Harris losing and RFK in any position resembling importance, well then I guess I'd accept him.

As I said though, he goes nowhere near any job involving science or medicine.

He's a fricking anti-vax loon (I know you astute readers will note the redundancy, but he'd be a loon without the anti-vax extra sauce). He has said he was out to defeat Biden primarily, so for him to join Harris means he has zero convictions or principles of his own, he just wants power.
He was very well paid by Trump donors to compete in the election, but RFK was subsequently happy to sell out to highest bidder from Trump and Harris (and it is sounding like Trump may offer him a job, in exchange for him dropping out & endorsing Trump. We'll see, but I'd guess that is likely right after the Democratic convention to attempt a Trump rebound).

Trump's biggest donor, Timothy Mellon, has spent not only $75 million plus supporting Trump, but also is RFK's biggest donor, with at least $25 million spent on groups supporting RFK. Although Mellon claimed it was because he shares "Libertarian" views with RFK, and was not just tactically spending to help Trump.

That guy is Red Squirrel-level of stupid. FFS can Kamala Harris peel votes from Cornel West LOL.
If he wasn't so consistently stupid, I'd think he's got to be trolling us.

All polls have some error, but that doesn't mean they're completely "shit." Here's a recap going back about 22 years:

RFK Junior endorse Trump? He's dumb, but I don't think he's that dumb. He'd never live it down.

That's why I haven't put a clown like you on ignore. Infact I dare you to prove the "red squirrel level stupid" doesn't actually apply to yourself beyond a reasonable doubt!

Most of us here know West is running. Only you're daft enough to believe Harris has to TAKE votes from West. If you want to believe nonsense like that, be my guest.
Note that the notion that West steals some votes from Harris is a concern, although likely overblown. But you're confused on directionality. Some voters who would otherwise vote for a Democrat might choose West. That is completely different from saying Harris has to take votes away from West.

Ralph Nader likely cost Democrats the election in 2000. Jill Stein's votes in 2016 had no practical effect, and neither will West's.

Honestly I'm not trying to pick on you, and I'll try to refrain in the future. But seriously, your takes are just as bad as Red Squirrel's are.

You've said so many crazy and foolish things in recent weeks it would take a wall of text to list them all.

Myea ... I know the polls were skewed before, was a huge shadow vote missing in the wake of Roe 2025 and whatnot. I think simply that those shadow voters have stepped out into the light and is publicly cheering Harris on... And probably still not answering phone calls on polling.

On some things.. I will never change. Just like you won't on some things that might seem eccentric to others.

Show me a human being who isn't eccentric!

Impossible isn't it?

I think there's a line between "I've eaten the exact same thing for lunch every Tuesday and Thursday for years" and "I think we need to exterminate every Muslim on the planet", one of these doesn't quite fit as "eccentric".

I've been on the road since noon. I got some glimpses of Kamala's economic plan and I like it. But did she talk about taxing corporations and the very wealthy? Besides criticizing Trump wanting to give them more tax breaks, but what about taxing them more under her presidency?
