I don't see this group going down to old numbers where they supported dems.. they're on the Trump train now.. but maybe Gen Z can overcome this:

I met a crazy black MAGA when I was buying art this weekend at Washington Square Park. Man was delusional spouting total nonsense. Blaming Obama for voting rights going down even though it was the Republican side of the SC that did it. But it was under his watch! I had to just cut him off and say I was done after a few minutes.

A few minutes?

I'd have stopped him after 1 second! Maybe that's why you all complain I'm too strong in my viewpoints!

But I tell it like it is and don't take shit from anyone.

We were going back and forth until he kept talking over me about shit like that, and I said if you are going to keep spouting completely misleading statements, I'm done.

I like the guy who pointed out black wall street but failed to mention white conservatives killed the residents and burned their homes and business to the ground.

Yeah lets be honest though.. we're not getting 92% black vote.. 70% if that would be really good this cycle.

gothuevos has some leads on adult diapers for cheap. It's not your "too strong" viewpoints that sane people object to.

Remember when you said racist desis wouldn't go for Kamala because her father is black? Seems like plenty are non racist and are enthused by her being at the top of the ticket. By the numbers, voters of South Asian descent are the most (D) reliable of any large Asian subgroup, during recent presidential elections (I'm going off of memory).

It may not be 90% but no way 70% either, it will be closer to 90 than not. The turnout is going to be insane for Kamala by the African American community.

"I equate (being a black conservative) to being gay in the fifties or sixties"...

So much to unpack there. Overall though I suspect that the prick is just some kind of shock-jock.

I'm looking forward to some good speeches from certain folks at the DNC. This also looks pretty inspiring and so glad it's happening. Maybe Elaine will give a a quick open and honest take on Jerry and it probably won't be good.

I didn't listen to the billionaire (supposedly) bro-fest, but apparently Trump had a lisp/was slurring words. Also that the pitch seemed higher. The terms "helium" and "Daffy Duck" were mentioned frequently on reddit. Sylvester the cat got an honorable mention.

On one hand, if he had a real speech impediment, I wouldn't make fun of it--except that they did exactly that to Biden for years. So fuck them. And, it's a bit....weird and not great when you suddenly develop a slur at the age of 78.

Could be dentures for all I know. Which also should be made fun of if that's the case.

Righties are claiming audio compression issues despite the fact that apparently Elon sounded like his normal asshole self. Oh, and maybe the most boringest, worstest interviewer ever apparently.

Anyway, this I found pretty funny:

That's an official campaign response. Professionalism at its finest. This from the same campaign that kept responding "Kamabla" over and over to people asking why they were messing up Harris' name.
It was audio only right? Coulda been a deepfake

A couple audio engineers I know (I'm one also) said it could be a de-esser applied to his vocal signal somewhere in the chain, or something going on the with the microphone (apparently as someone said it's a cheapo one). De-essers are used to reduce sibilance and if over-used they can produce something similar to a lisp.

We'll see, if he's really slurring words regularly it will become evident as presumably he has a lot of speaking engagements coming up.

He's definitely not the same dude as 2016, hey it happens to all of us eventually. Seeing and hearing clips from that election compared to now is pretty jarring.

He and his supporters spent years hammering on Biden's age, well now enjoy the ride you old fuck.

Sure, but try telling any of the family members of the dead of those cities that. Or some of the survivors.

To be honest, it sounded like typical bad audio compression to me. But hey, keep the lisp thing going! Can't hurt.

Obama did win Florida twice.

That said, the place has been drawing rubes and scared boomers like flies on shit since then. People that look at what Desantis has been doing and say "gimme more of THAT!" In particular, the rallying cry of the true imbecile: "Woke! Woke! It's Woke! gobble gobble"

But hey maybe it'll make Trump "defend" Florida by spending here.
