Bro you sound like the bed shitter now... nobody is going to round up and indiscriminately kill tax payers.

But moving forward, if you go to any anti-Trump rally or protest a cause they don't like, then yeah, you are probably putting yourself at risk.

I don't think they will target individuals, but they will quickly quell groups/gatherings.

Vance: trump said, and I agree, we should go after far leftists with the military.
Tapper: so they're not Americans?

Jesus fucking Christ. I really hope Trump loses or we are really fucked.
I saw that interview with Jake Tapper and Vance. JD is an expert flinging up so much mud most people tune out. 2 questions I wish Jake would have asked Vance…

If you favor using the military to attack citizens should the Army have been send in to the Capital on Jan 6?

JD kept accusing Trump is always taken out of context. “In what context is it acceptable to put Liz Cheney in front of a war tribunal”?

Christopher Hitchens an imperialist? You may as well dub the late Hitchens a madman. I'm unaware that he was, so I doubt you, sir.

If people "have multiple parts to their identity," they have no identity. It has been said, sagely, "be one!" So there...

I find this suspect, to say the least. You have a dim view of human nature.

Well we disagree on pretty much all of that, is all I can say. I've noticed we disagree on a great deal. I suspect you are white and middle-class, hence you have a different ideology to me, because your self-interests are different.

(Hitchens was a full-on neo-con, aka an imperailist.)

People have multiple parts to their identities, and which part takes precedence can change depending on circumstances.

I do not think he is referring to going after the average Democrat voter.

I do think they will be very heavy handed with protests that have even an inkling of violence. Maybe even if there's no violence. Quick to pull the trigger on the Insurrection Act, etc. Where it escalates from there is anyone's guess.
Well of course you don't.

He has openly said he will, and maybe use the NG to do so.

I just saw multiple clips of this interview and holy hell, it is just UNREAL. I mean I really disliked Vance prior to this but this is like the worst I think I've ever seen him. He just has the most punchable face on the planet.

I simply cannot wrap my brain around how anyone that is an American can vast a vote for these 2 pieces of human trash.
Depending on turnout, they'll end up with at least 71M total votes nationally; and they have a roughly 50% chance of winning the EC.

With a couple exceptions (NE, TX), polls in the Senate races look relatively shitty right now as we're playing defense across the map. Repugs have a strong chance of capturing 51 (or more) seats.

I've been suspecting this. This is really, really bad.
It gets worse… The tangerine terrorist wouldn’t meet the Slezos execs until the non-endorsement was published.

Those reported overtures were eviscerated by Washington Posteditor-at-large and longtime columnist Robert Kagan, who resigned on Friday. On Saturday, he argued that the meeting Blue Origin executives had with Trump would not have taken place if the Post had endorsed the Democratic vice-president as it planned.

“Trump waited to make sure that Bezos did what he said he was going to do – and then met with the Blue Origin people,” Kagan told the Daily Beast on Saturday. “Which tells us that there was an actual deal made, meaning that Bezos communicated, or through his people, communicated directly with Trump, and they set up this quid pro quo.”

And some people thought I was nuts calling for a bloody revolution against these crazies?

@iRONic isn't it?

We need to be on guard and stand up to these fascists!
Shitlol

Let’s compare our household stash of weapons for your ’bloody revolution’ shall we…

Everything we keep is defense-oriented. 1 Keltec KS7 pump shotgun & a Sig 9mm pistol. If your revolution kicks off our protocol puts us in western KY at a 40 acre farm.

What’s your protocol? Fuck off to Bali so you can fuck underage whores?

Shitlol

Funny you should mention underage.. Long ago I made a life rule.. NEVER EVER ANYONE UNDER 21! Of all the failed resolutions.. I've actually managed to keep that one!

As far as Bali goes.. nice place to visit but actually have less rights than here. Wouldn't be my first choice at all.. no. 4 weeks was enough for me. Benidorm in Spain would be #1 if I wanted what I think you're alluding to.. sex, beaches, raves!

And if I'm guessing and they send people to get us.. I'd guess units no bigger than 6 people (most likely 2-4). You could probably handle them as I think MAGA are without much actual IQ who just talk tough about civil war, so you could have a field day with a 7.62 chambered carbine!

Either way the people that suffer the most under such conditions are the ones who choose not to fight and just "give up".

P.S. In Bali.. (heck all of South East Asia) don't ever rent jet ski's.. you'll end up paying a shit ton for some phantom damage or worse end up in a hospital!

You know the Nazis did that right? Just before the killings started.

Never, ever, EVER assume that there's limits to fascism. There isn't.

Surely this warrants some kind of federal investigation?

This is business as usual over the past 20 odd years for Trump, nothing new here. Everything is a quid-pro-quo if you want Trump to do anything, that's just the way Trump rolls, screw the legalities. Although Russia, Turkey, and North Korea learned if you compliment him enough he'll perform tricks and simply hand over secrets for free.

The New York Times' Editorial Board endorsed Kamala Harris for President

This link gets you beyond the paywall for 14 days, i.e. until Nov. 10, 2024

Edit: OK, just discovered this is old news, published Sept. 30. It's not terrible, in a lot of ways it's excellent, however the reader Comments (especially if you order them by Reader Picks) reveal major flaws in the editorial, in particular the excessive attention to how unfit Trump is to be reelected president when they could have focused a lot more on the accomplishments of Harris and promise that she brings. So, don't ignore the comments, and I suggest, of course, that you order them by Reader Picks.

Anyway, I posted this partly to show that a major newspaper did endorse Kamala in light of the recent refusal of The Washington Post and Los Angeles Times to follow suit. Shame on them!

So MAGAs are idiots and liars, but something I've seen from at least a dozen different ones. Their proof that voter fraud is real, is their mom/dad/grandparents was a Republican and are dead but in 2020 voted for Biden. My mom's dead, assuming there was actually some dastardly plot where they were using dead people to gain votes. How the fuck would I know my mom voted?

I'm trying to make sense out of the nonsense they spew that unfortunately other MAGAs will believe and run with themselves. For them to claim to have knowledge of their dead mom voting for someone she'd never have voted for while alive shows a beyond wild imagination. I mean what are the odds?

This racist, sexist NAZI love in at MSG is the grossest thing I've seen in a long time even by Trump standards. You put these people in charge of the country and we're probably going at it.

All that's missing is the Seig Heil chant!
