Anyone having to buy it from Newegg or Googlegear most likely doesn't have a Fry's nearby, so it's not that cheap!

Not a fair comparison since the Fry's deal is for a K7S5A NON-Pro. Also, with the travel time and crowded parking lots and long long lines at the computer component desk, going to Fry's can be a two hour ordeal.

Before anyone flames me, it's late here on the east coast, and I'm too tired to read every post in this thread soooo...

What's the dif between the original (version 3.1 mb , i think mine's 3.1 anyway) and this so called "pro" version?

Also , I upgraded the bios on my ecs k7s5a to the latest greatest version and with a 1.2 duron, and a 256 stick of pc2100 ddr, I still have to set it to 100/100 in the bios in order for it to run stable. Way back in the ecs threads someone posted a cpu clock choice of like 112, ,etc....numerous choices, what Bios allows that? I only get 100/100 100/133 and 133/133 and only the 100/100 works without lock ups. What's goin on?

133 is for xp. u overclocking your duron doing that.

Not in my Fry's never experienced a 2 hr ordeal. plus I read here that you can call Sunnyvale Fry's and order there. Pretty fair to me. Tax in lieu of shipping charges.
