K-Mart files chapter 11

I haven't heard about it yet. Just yesterday Kmart said they wouldn't file... I'll keep looking though.
 
Kmart has 2100 stores and my job is sorta dependent on their livelyhood so PLEASE SHOP THERE...at least to bring their stock outta this slump.... 😉

My highschool buddy works for PriceWaterhouseCoopers in Chicago and he had KMart as a client in Detroit (Troy). He knew they were doomed years ago. Their Management was shot to hell. Too many old timers with no new ideas. They blew it.
 
Target is better, i must admit but I don't like Wal Mart that much. Only thing it's good for is convienence. Besides, my KMart isnt THAT bad. They got some ok stuff, and the occasional soda deal 😀

Kmart is pretty cheap. They have some low-quality stuff, but some of what they carry is not that bad...

Don't mess with Kmart, or yer messin' with me 🙂
 
One of there biggest problems is there waste. I have been hauling for them for over seven years and they waste money. They have what they call there NSC dept, where they ship there slow moving products out to other DC's. They will ship a 53ft trailer out with 3ft of frieght on it going to a DC in Florida. This is a daily accurence tell me that is not a waste of money, $1.10 a mile will add up fairly quicky. That is just a fraction of the problems they have. There always trying to fix what isn't broke instead of fixing what is.
 
KMart where I live is great. Easy in and out has a pharmacy. Wal-Mart is suc 10 million ppl crappy parking same stuff as KMart just more ppl to contend with, because there all sheep..... bahhhha go to wal-mart. I cant stand wal-mart and I live in Arkansas.
