You realize that the DNI might not know the names of sources provided by foreign governments, right?

You’re desperately reaching to find a way to ignore reporting you don’t like. If that works for you, good on you.

He doesn't understand how big & how compartmentalized the Deep State really is.

Two points. First, do you have an exact quote of Clapper saying he didn't know of Papadopoulos? All I found were quotes of Clapper saying he was unaware of a specific discussion with Papadopoulos about Russia having DNC emails. Clapper didn't say he didn't know of him at all.

Second, and more importantly, Clapper also said he was unaware of the Trump Tower meeting between Russia and the Trump boys. We know without a doubt that this meeting occurred, however. That seems to leave two options. Either Clapper didn't involve himself with the details of the Russian investigation, or Clapper chose not to publicly acknowledge sensitive, and perhaps even classified information. It's easy to imagine that he'd be reticent to reveal sensitive details about the intel we received from Australia.

What's your explanation?

You realize that the DNI might not know the names of sources provided by foreign governments, right?

You’re desperately reaching to find a way to ignore reporting you don’t like. If that works for you, good on you.

You guys are just determined to be as bone-headed ignorant as possible, i know.

I just posted a video of him reiterating that he didn't know about Papadopolous - a recent one - that apparently escaped you. That video also has a CNN reporter stating that Clapper just said the NYT article was not true. It's as clear as it gets.

But here's one from last year, before any of this NYT nonesense came out :

James Clapper: I didn't know about Papadopoulos, Trump Tower meetings when I said there was no Trump-Russia collusion
Nov. 12, 2017, 2:02 PM

Now before you go on about the content of this 2 month old article, keep one thing in mind. Natalia Veselnitskaya, the Russian that met with Trump Jr, worked for Fusion GPS.

Let me say that again, the Russian lawyer who was meeting with Trump Jr worked for the same company that published the Dossier. The same company that was being paid by the DNC.

Nice job not addressing anything we said.

Odds of you posting on the_donald, close to 100%.

I hope you are able to understand someday how you’re being duped. The people who are playing you are laughing at you.

And they hate him. The disdain they have for him should embarrass him but instead he politely asks for more.

So, conspiracy theory, right?

It's telling how you wander back to the forum after 6 months' absence to spread it around, huh?

Clapper said in January that he personally hadn't seen evidence of collusion at that time. So what? The FBI is deliberately compartmentalized, handling investigations on a need to know basis.

Veselnitskaya did not work for Fusion GPS. She was co-counsel with Baker Hostetler, their employer, in a Cypriot banking case. That case was why she was in the US at the time of her meeting with Jr-

There’s no evidence that the work Fusion GPS did for BakerHostetler on behalf of Prevezon and their work on the Trump dossier were connected. In fact, the former seems to advance Russian interests while the latter is hugely problematic for the Russian government. It’s entirely possible that the firm was working on two separate Russia-related projects for clients who had opposing interests, roughly at the same time.

Fusion GPS began its separate work on the Trump-Russia connections in October 2015, working for unnamed Republican clients. After Trump won the primary, Democratic funders continued to push the effort. Christopher Steele, the former MI6 officer who compiled the dossier, was brought on in May 2016.

It's "purist".
I was going to thank you for learnin' me somethin' but the dictionary has convinced me that though I meant purist, purest works fine as well if not in the traditional sense. Take that and stuff it where the sun don't shine Tajjy! Take it... Take it...

But I'll try again. Your stupidity is the purest I've ever seen. Better? Ya damn purist ... In stupidity.

Wow, try to be kind and not even make a snarky comment and you foul yourself. You're welcome.

Umm, kind? You're not worthy but polite, I know the concept... You're not worthy. The moment you broke your promise to try and be a better person (it was almost immediate) you ruined any chance of genuine consideration. You knowingly lied to me. You don't even know to what degree you didn't hurt or didn't surprise me dammit!

Charge her, arrest her, try her, find her guilty, draw and quarter her and burn the remains, grind her bones to dust and scatter the dust to the four winds.

Never forget! Ben Ghazi!

I'm wondering if Trump has more than his fair share of Catholics in his fanbase, because as an ex-Catholic I can see how the mindless ritual would appeal to them.

And now all please stand for the praising of Trump.

The mindless ritual of putting politicians in jail that take bribes via their "foundation" for political access and favors - like buying our uranium mines? I guess you got me there. :(

Wasn't that already debunked by Fox News, of all outlets? I'm pretty sure it was.

No, I was referring to mindless rituals such as chanting "lock her up", as you were either perfectly aware of or were so utterly ignorant of that it's more than a little scary that you're allowed to vote.

Anyone want to take bets that Trump and Republicans will be calling for criminal investigation of whoever the Democrats nominate in 2020, no matter who it is?

This is some banana republic shit, weaponizong law enforcement against your political enemies. Anyone who gives a shit about our country should be actively working to oust from office every single person who participated in this or enabled this. People are prone to hyperbole about politics all the time but this represents an existential threat to our democracy.

Shockingly enough the people of the political ideology who say they need their guns to prevent government tyranny are the ones cheering it on.

Well if Fox News debunked it (according to you), then I guess I will have to put a call into the FBI and halt the investigation first thing Monday morning!

Mueller was put in place to go on a fishing expedition. Special prosecutors are only put in place *after* a crime was committed. The only thing they have now are PROCESS crimes - after the fact.

If Hillary lies to the FBI - we get to LOCK HER UP. But thats a process crime.

"Weaponizing law enforcement"...pfft...you guys invented that shit!
