Cool, signed up. Thanks OP

Can't you use this to get free long distance? If you live in New York and your Mom lives in Washington, can't you just add your moms number to the number that rings, and call your own local grand central number, and have it ring washington like its a local call?

Who pays for long distance anymore???

Neat.. an ex-gf is still paying for my cell but it expires in October. Now I think I can just give this number out and not worry about any confusion when I have to get a new number for the cell.

Say you start giving people your GC number and they save it in their phone. Anytime you call them, your real number will show on their caller ID and they will just be confused..

Use Click2Call to:

Easily return calls without having to punch in the phone number
Have your GrandCentral number displayed in others Caller ID

They need to have a connecting service or way around it, so the GC number shows without having to use Click2Call.

*edit*
If you have Internet access on your phone, you can pull up your GC Contacts to call people with your number. Basically mobile phones without internet access and regular phones are the only ones that don't support directly calling with your GC number.

So you can register multiple numbers (home, cell, work) to the GC #? Can you set it so that when a certain number calls your GC #, it goes through to whatever specific phone # you have in your GC account (if you have more than one # registered in your GC account)?

For example, I have my home, work and cell phone numbers registered in my GC account. Can I set it up so that if my Mom calls my GC # it goes through to my cell phone, my son calls my GC # it goes through to my work phone, etc.?
