No offense but i couldn't care less about your opinion of the movie, if you haven't even seen it yet. I guess I'll just go catch it then, hey its only 8 bucks.
See, the "best" part of the movie was maybe a minute long (maybe less). Damn, I can't wait to see the DVD with their deleted scenes
The movie itself was pretty good, lots of action. The equipment highlight was Travolta's home supercomputer with multiple OC-3 lines ( I think it was seven). Imagine that kind of bandwidth in your house!

Thats more bandwidth then you could possibly use on a personal computer ever at any one moment.
(granted of course, current PC standards)

I wasn't expecting this movie to be average so I went into the theatre expecting to come out with a different opinion whether it be good or bad. The plot gets semi-confusing...not the kind of confusing like the first time you saw the Matrix, but the stupid kind of confusing because it doesn't make sense. The acting is fair for a Travolta movie, although that goatee is ass ugly. The special effects are pretty bad ass, and there's enough action in the movie to keep the tempon moving. Did I mention the post-Matrix effects in the movie? In the beginning the action scene is done with the spinning 360 effect but to a great extent. It's actually one of the nicest action scenes I've ever seen. It grabs your attention and you're gonna expect something decent out of the movie. But through the rest of the movie I kinda found myself going "wtf" or "too much talk, more of Halle's ass and boobs."
And you comp nerds are gonna love the hacker talk cause I didn't have a clue what they were saying most of the time but I heard all this jazz about worms and trojans. Hard to beleive he can hack something in 60 seconds, while under unusual "circumstances"
Bottom Line: Looking for a nerd movie with a lot of (good) action and an original but kind of boring plot then this movies for you. The special effects and T+A (not too much of it but what the hell) are nice extras.
I give it a 7 out of 10 smileys...the score would've been lower without Halle Berry's money shot.
Thanks for the correction Cooltech, I wasn't paying that much attention( I was hoping for more Halle airtime but I was dissappointed. Now I remember, the supercomputer had seven monitors(screens) so the hacker can maintain seven connections at the same time. What I noticed are that the laptops used and the bank's servers are DELL:Q
