I hate ricers. I hate rice burners with stoopid friggin' 4 foot tall wings and side graphics and bling bling 22" chrome rims.

I hope the movie bombs and that Paul Walker gets ahold of some tainted cheese.

Actually the movie was fairly decent. I was expecting crap, and well...it was actually decent. The plot didn't really have to do with cars, like the previous movie. And they only had two race scenes, one of which was good. The completely humilated teh Skyline though.

There were two awesome scenes..the first one: When the dude in the Yenko revs his engine. Holy craptastic...it was just awesome!!! Second scene: when all the privately owned cars were driving around. I was quite happy to see the director let hundreds of local-owned cars be in the movie. I spotted some Nissans in that group :D

Also, I'd like to add it was good entertainment. That scene with the Yenko and GTO (I think it was) were worth it alone. Also they had some accurate stuff, such as Tyrese heel-toeing on a hairpin. Also had some non-accurate scene...such as a Eclipse Sypder keeping up with a Z06..wtf?

They gave props to American muscle too.

By destroying them all? Saleen Mustang gets outran by a crappy green Evo, gets run over by a 18 wheeler and takes out a Corvette in the process

They just destroyed the Mustang and the 'Vette. Also for all we know, that could have been a Mustang with a Saleen bodykit. In any case, that Yenko made the entire movie worth it.

When the Saleen was actually driving it was a true Saleen. The car they destroyed was a V6 with a body kit.

The Yenko and GTO were the cars thats saved the day and they admitted that they were quicker than th EVO and Eclipse. Thats props if you ask me considering they certainly didnt have to do it.

Yeah that was pretty cool... not so much domestic bashing... :)

I have NEVER seen a riced out car with anything above 19" chrome rims. Ricers are the people which hate extra weight on their cars... so why would they put on chrome rims?

Something that's a POS for you might not be a POS for others. It's called taste. People that like cars, will probably even pay more to watch these movies. As I will definetly going to see it for the second time.

About the movie, I think it was 6 out of 10.

And this is to the people that calls everyone Ricer; not everything you see is rice. My friend worked for 1 year in VT's lab to make the perfect carbon fiber wing for his Prelude. It isn't the look, it's the performance. So quit calling everyone a Ricer.

Wow, a 6/10 movie you're going to see twice? The first one was alright. This one is just trying to ride the tails of the first. And how much "performance" increase did he see with the wing?

OMG you just defined a ricer right there! Making a carbon fiber wing for a Prelude(FWD) for performance? Hahahha thats only going to increase drag and therefore decrease performance. Thats like putting TypeR stickers on a Neon for more horsepower. I might put a spoiler to make a cool looking fwd car look better but not for performance buddy!

Umm...have you ever watched Touring Car races?? They have many FWD cars with wings, that are actually needed for stability during turns. Drag is a good thing when your going quickly on a turn. You want to keep the rear end planted (doesn't matter if you have FWD, AWD, RWD).

Skoorb: I thought the first one was crap, but the second one is slightly better. They didn't bastardize the cars too much. The Domestics were kept pure and non-bastardized. And surprisingly, Tyrese can actually act. He had his moments in the film. Also you could see in some shots, that he actually knew how to drive: such as heel-toeing at the hairpin and actually shifting properly (no pistol-gripping).

Ya but most rice races are just straight line races thats what I meant. I would think its stupid to do circuit races on the streets.

Agreed... i'm also one of the few who thought this one was better than the first. The first one was just pure of corny crap. This one still has its corny moments but its not so bad. :D BTW... i read somewhere that Tyrese can't drive for isht compare to Paul Walker. :)
