Don't pay attention to the acting and the plot...that's not the point! Overall, if you are into cars AT ALL it's worth seeing.

good call. strictly for entertainment purposes.... just watch the damn movie. im a fan of the first f&f... cause its cool. it may not be accurate, and kinda stupid, but overall, its good entertainment.
Good entertainment for domestic fans to laugh, and ricers to want to imitate.
Someone should put a sign up stating that when you leave the cinemas that you are Neither Fast Nor Furious because most of the idiots think they are when they leave the place.
I didn't really like it that much. I loved the first one but the second was BORING. The first one had a lot more variety then the 2nd.
I wanted to see Nemo, but 2 of my friends changed their minds so we end up watching this move.

was going to go see it today but the matrix was playing on the IMAX and well the rest is history.......
The whole movie is one big marketing gimmick. Asian chick racing a S2000? I mean, come on.

Actually the movie was fairly decent. I was expecting crap, and well...it was actually decent. The plot didn't really have to do with cars, like the previous movie. And they only had two race scenes, one of which was good. The completely humilated teh Skyline though.
There were two awesome scenes..the first one: When the dude in the Yenko revs his engine. Holy craptastic...it was just awesome!!! Second scene: when all the privately owned cars were driving around. I was quite happy to see the director let hundreds of local-owned cars be in the movie. I spotted some Nissans in that group
Also, I'd like to add it was good entertainment. That scene with the Yenko and GTO (I think it was) were worth it alone. Also they had some accurate stuff, such as Tyrese heel-toeing on a hairpin. Also had some non-accurate scene...such as a Eclipse Sypder keeping up with a Z06..wtf?
They gave props to American muscle too.

By destroying them all? Saleen Mustang gets outran by a crappy green Evo, gets run over by a 18 wheeler and takes out a Corvette in the process

Something that's a POS for you might not be a POS for others. It's called taste. People that like cars, will probably even pay more to watch these movies. As I will definetly going to see it for the second time.
About the movie, I think it was 6 out of 10.
And this is to the people that calls everyone Ricer; not everything you see is rice. My friend worked for 1 year in VT's lab to make the perfect carbon fiber wing for his Prelude. It isn't the look, it's the performance. So quit calling everyone a Ricer.

Wow, a 6/10 movie you're going to see twice? The first one was alright. This one is just trying to ride the tails of the first. And how much "performance" increase did he see with the wing?
i thought it was worth seeing, definitely better than a C+ that the reviewers gave it..more like a B+
i watch alot of movies....make that most of them. So far this movie is the worst movie i have ever seen since imposter. Half way through the movie i turned to my friend and said that this movie is worse than i thought it would be.
Just get over it. Is just a friggin summer movie. How many movies are actually accurate? When I go to the movies I want to be entertained. I don't want to watch a documentary or a research report. Most people who complain about ricers this and ricers that prolly drive POS themselves.

i downloaded and watched the first part and it was a total waste of my time, harddrive space and bandwidth. don't get me wrong, i love cars but i dont like cars when they get riced out with 5 foot tall aluminum wings, wannabe altezza taillights, 20inch chrome rims, whack graphics, and christmas tree LEDs all over. i do agree that they chose some nice cars, turboed supra, and rx7 but they would have looked a lot better with a "clean" look.
i've seen the trailers for part 2 and it doesn't look any better. just more rice, horrible acting, and a pointless plot and they still expect me to pay to see it?

There is nothing new about people making their cars look the way they want, it's been happening since the automobile was invented. Get over it.
The best part is the high school kids in the parking lot after the movie trying to do burnouts in 90hp cars. They dont even realize how expensive it is to get that kind of power out of some of those cars. At least they gave props to old chool domestic muscle in this one. The movie could've been a lot worse IMO and I was going in expecting it to suck.
