I played with about 5 other people in one of their dorm rooms. At first everybody was skeptical, but by the end, we knew that we couldn't have moved the planchette in such a strange manner.

We asked:

1) Is there a spirit in the room? NO
2) Is the hallway haunted? NO
3) What is the name of ___'s dog? The planchette just moved around and settled on nothing.
4) What is your first name? UVUH...
5) Are you male? NO
6) How old are you? 59
7) How old were you when you died? 37
8) We are done playing, may we leave? NO
9) We are done using this board, may we please leave peacefully?

The answer to the last question was odd. Basically, there are the letters GOOD BYE at the very bottom, with 1-10 on top of those 7 letters. The planchette first moved to the 0, then straight to the 6. Under those 5 numbers was the word BYE. The planchette then moved from the 6 to the 0, in the EXACT same path as before. Yet again, it read BYE. We hope it meant byebye!

Scary to the least, as i only had my fingertips on the freakin thing and it still moved. Plus, some questions were asked with a trusted friend whom i know wouldn't move the planchette. Now, if it didn't say byebye, wtf would you do?

Yeah, those things are true. I never mess with those. I mean just imagine if I came across a spirit which didn't speak English. Can you imagine the confusion?

I would've asked better questions than that.

I have to admit those things creep me out -- when I was little I saw the aftermath of a horrible car wreck. There was a Ouija board scattered there. I *know* there was no causal relationship, but my youthful mind definitely linked the two.

1. Ouija board is real
2. Any demons you talk to are deceitful - there is no such thing as good spirits
3. Never play with the board by yourself, it opens you up to demon possession
4. Playing the board attracts numerous demons, and you may be continually stalked even when not playing
5. The more you play, the stronger the "interface" gets and "stuff" might start happen besides a moving planchette

yeah, we as humans have figured out how to communicate with the dead. And the best application we can do with it is sell it as a $20 gameboard in a Toys R Us? Hope you had fun (that is the point). Hope you don't think you communicated with the dead.

You realize that the Ouija board sold on ToysRUs shelves is based on the real witchboard?

Uhhhh.... please tell me you guys aren't serious?

Not saying anything about you guys specifically, but I know some people that believe in this stuff, but then say "there's no god because there's no scientific evidence."

The spirit realm recently accepted UTF-8 encoding so their words translate properly.

It's not worth the risk to me.

Could be real, could be not, I don't see any really "good" things that can come of it, so I won't mess with one, period.

Well, technically they're not real uless they're made from a tree near an unhallowed grave, but I digress. Are you suggesting demon possession is a bad thing? Unworldly strength, power of suggestion on weak minds (useful for picking up girls). I don't see a down side.
