Both my MC and my MCS came with floor mats free. Where'd you buy from? Not over sticker, I hope.

yall have two?!?!

on another note, i don't think the normal version should be called MINI Cooper, and the sport version be called MINI Coooper S. i think the normal should be MINI, and the sport be MINI Cooper.

MINI is the brand and Cooper is the model.

i know how BMW is doing it, but the original, MINI was the car and Cooper was the sport package

The bottom of the line one is the mini one then the cooper and finally the cooper s.

But to all purposes the one is a waste oh so slow.

Here's some pictures of my 2004 ChiliRed S and my Mom's 2004 ChiliRed Cooper. My Dad has a 2004 Pepper White JCW (I don't have a picture of this one yet).

I was debating to get black or white stripes on mine. You sold me on black dude 🙂

Awesome man...I have a '05 Dark Silver MINI Cooper S and absolutely love it.

One thing you may not know (it isn't really listed as a feature and my dealer didn't even know), but the 05's play MP3 CD's by default, which is super nice...15 albums per CD!

I heard of that, I also think that radio naming feature (where it picks up the name of the station and song) is really cool.

i hear that when u finally get it, they sort make a big deal about it at the dealership. that true?

otherwise cool car. ive always considered them more interesting than say a cavalier.

Apparently they did a crash comparision test between the F-150 and the Mini Cooper (35-mph offset crash test) The Mini did remarkably well, while the F-150 failed miserably.

OTOH if a F-150 crashed into a Mini, the Mini would be flying across the street from the momentum of the truck.

The dealership experience is awesome 🙂 Classic MINI in Cleveland has signs that say "Sold, I'm going home today" like at a pet shop 😛. Plus, in a few weeks after the purchase you get a Welcome kit that includes MINI cards, travel games, a pen, notebook, signs, etc.

I'll pass on a car where there is not enough room to kiss your ass goodbye if you are involved in a collision 😉

If you say so... Link

You will always hear that arguement. Uninformed customers are what drive SUV sales, though. 😉

It makes them feel all nice in better knowing they're in a bigger car than you 😉

I sat in the new MINI Cooper Cabrio last summer at BMW's showcase dealership in Munich. Very hot car! No back seat! Very expensive in non-S form (30K ?).

Grats! I'm going to order one in April. Going for the drop-top S. Can't wait! 😀 Probably the most fun car I've ever driven.

I got a laugh out of the contact I have to sign saying the top has to be down 90% of the time. heheh...right.

Cool! You will definately enjoy the car!

If you need any parts, be sure to check out RSpeed.net, they specialize in Minis and Miatas. I ordered a set of wheels from them, and they absolutely have the best customer service out of any company I've dealt with. Nothing but good things to say about these guys.
