oh, just wondering. Does anyone know if there is an official equation to measure what I did with mine? im just wondering how accurate it is

Yes, so if I am aging slower than everyone else, when I get to my destination, it will be later than I think it will be.

EDIT: I read what you said wrong - no, it will be earlier than you would think it would be.

Yenno, I've always thought of it this way, if you were wearing a watch, it STILL ticks at the same rate, be it traveling at 200MPH in an Enzo, or walking at and unmeasurable speed on foot.

I think what he forgot to mention is the relative of time and space travel, not traveling on earth.

Sorry, I should of mentioned that I was taking time from the travelers pov. To him, it only seems that say 2 hours have passed, but in to an observer 4 hours may have passed so once he reaches his destination, its not 4:00 but really 6:00 assuming he left at 2:00. :eek:

Sorry, I should of mentioned that I was taking time from the travelers pov. To him, it only seems that say 2 hours have passed, but in to an observer 4 hours may have passed so once he reaches his destination, its not 4:00 but really 6:00 assuming he left at 2:00. :eek:

That seems like an awfully large dilation for 100 km/h

Actually you're wrong. You're measuring your speed in km/hr and speed of light in m/s. You need to convert one or the other.
