It would be CRIA, though. And even though downloading is legal up there, if you got it off a P2P network, you probably did some uploading... which is not legal.

Got it from avid Tool fan/friend of mine, but I don't disagree that it's wrong. But that doesn't bother me, it's not the legality of downloading that bothers me, it's the morality. I'll be buying this album when it's released, if that changes anything.
 
I just heard it.. I can't say I like it as much as other tool songs. There's too much low end booms that feels like it's distorting the music.. and my Swan M200/Velodyne VX10 sub can easily handle it, so I'm pretty sure my speakers aren't the culprit.

Honestly though, i love tool, they are very consistant in putting out good music.

APC is kind of hit and miss, i liked everything but that most recent abomination.
 
I got ahold of the uncompressed wav that the radio stations are getting... THe song is absolutely increidble.


And before I get bitched at, yes I'll be buying the album when it's out.

it's a good song, but anyone who was "blown away" would've been blown away even if the song was maynard throwing a steaming handful of feces in his face.

Vicarious could've been an unremarkable tune off Lateralus, plain and simple.
