Always has his sh!t up loud as hell. I just got home from work at 12:30 and have to be back in at 7 and it is now 1:30 and I can't sleep. It would be understandable if these were sh!tty apartments or I was on a college campus. My college days are over and I shouldn't have to deal with this. Just a semi rant. Too tired to type anymore

Well done for calling the police. They inconvience you, you inconvience them right back.

How long does it take the cops???????still loud as FCK.

Noise violations are low on the priority list. Hope it's still playing when they get there. Sometimes it takes the cops around here 90 minutes to respond to my horse-****** neighbors when they have midnight parties and I'm trying to sleep.

Done this several times. The neighbor across from them has complained several times and the complex has yet to do anything about it. Just annoying and inconsiderate

That's true, but then you'd just have to call the cops again. It's a vicious cycle.

It's one thing to be a flat out narc but this guy says they've actually tried to communicate with the neighbors before. If you're going to be an ass and leave your music at an unreasonable volume at an unreasonable hour and inconvenience your neighbors in doing so then you either take what's coming or buy a damn house.

From what I understand, after a few infractions they are required to pay a hefty fine. If they are renters, the landlord has the option to instead kick them out. Guess how often the fine gets paid?

I called the cops on my neighbor once, they never bothered me again. Cops need to just tell people about this.

I'm curious what interaction he's actually had with said neighbor.. was it a passive aggressive note or an actual conversation.. if the latter what was said in response to the request? A call from the cops is a sure fire way to ensure a repeat performance, I hope it was worth it.

Only if the neighbor is a completely immature asshole. A reasonable response would be to learn and cooperate. The cops came out for a reason and it wasn't to say "yeah, it's okay to keep doing it and do it more now that we've been out to your house!"
