This. I've made a number of PB&J sandwiches over the phone to interviewers over the years.

And the joke question is a great idea. Interviewing people is boring as hell.

I find "cultural" fit of a person on a team to be almost more important than that person's technical skill, so I could see value in the first question.

Also, I've had a good number of interviews - I interviewed with ~5 different people the other week for my new position.... We all must be about srs busns because I've never had such off the wall questions. It must be an IT thing.
