Went to his house. A 20-room mansion, with tennis courts in the back. Amazing place. Awesome guy, too. I'm not Jewish, but I enjoyed the experience very much and respect the culture alot.
 
Seder is the passover meal, the one portrayed in the last supper i think, so I'd assume it was yesterday (not really sure about that, just what I remember from the Bible).

I assume he was invited - or trespassing 🙂

God I swear asians are so full of themselves. I thought white people were bad (I'm white btw), and I don't mean to come across as racist and it could be that I am just not associating with the right people, but to me asians try to make themselves out to be this superior, all knowing race. Nothing against you, gopunk, or any asians out there that take this the wrong way. I'm not racist, just step off that horse and join the rest of us.

Heh, yeah, Matzoh sucks. Oh well - I guess only dealing with it for 8 days/year is better than every day for 40 years in the desert. 😉

A family friend made a good desert out of matzoh - it had some nice chocolate covering one side and then some kind of carmelized sugar on the other (I don't know really what it was) - could hardly taste the matzoh.

There's the classic matzoh ball too - I love matzoh ball soup.

Also, I found that I couldn't really taste the matzoh when I loaded it up with chicken salad too. 🙂

well i know what you mean, but i think it's just because asians show it more. i don't think asians think any differently about themselves than people of any other part of the world. everybody thinks they are the best, asians are just a little more blunt about it.

i'm tempted to post lyrics from got rice, but i won't 😛

what, how can you say fobs are the bad apples? the bad apples are the ones that grew up here with all advantages and still turn out failures.... fobs are definitely not the bad apples... i mean they move here from a different country and work their ass off in school, that's nowhere near comparable to niggas and rednecks. ricers and the such are the bad apples imo

btw i'm abc, so not like i'm biased.

I disagree gopunk, I don't think caucasians are the best and i am white. I think people are just people I don't feel one is better than the other at all. Although i can say i am definitely more attracted to white women than any other race 🙂

I'm confused by why one would think that one race was superior to another. Are there any racists here who care to explain?

well i guess i shoudl have also mentioned, it's not necessarily consciously either, and it isn't "oh we are better", it is more like "well this is just the right way...". of course if you are caucasian, you are rarely confronted with a situation where you would see this, because everything is basically western. but when you're from a different culture, you have more opportunity to examine how different yours is from others.

I pretty much dislike everyone equally...not sure if that makes me racist (hating all races?) or just anti-social 😛

I guess to remain germane in this thread....I'm not Jewish. Episcopal, baby! Got my denomination of faith because a king wanted a divorce! Woo! 😉

People that come to another country for vacation or for premanent relocation and constantly make comparisons to their home country really piss me off. If your home country is so great stay there and save us all the grief.

i was... but my parents, who are from china, raised me.

i'm not making comparisons to any country.. this is not about nationality or ethnicity... i'm talking about culture here. people have a tendency to like their own cultures, unless they are rejects 😛

anyways you guys are all taking this a little too seriously, all i was saying is that i think jews are cool because they are like white asians. don't see what is so bad about that... i just like how they value education and have a strong desire to succeed. also they have a lot of little quirks like asians. same goes for the greeks in my big fat greek wedding actually. like that windex thing haha

i think the perfect culture is a hybrid between asian and western. asian for the work ethic, education, respect, and food... and western for humor, creativity, and openness (and food, from people like the italians).
