Umm... I think that is impossible. I thought Jews didn't believe in Christ, so therefore, how can they have a Last Supper meal?

my understanding is that they didn't believe christ was the son of god. i wasn't aware there was any significant controversy over the existance of the individual...

This was what I was reffering to - at least in the RC faith, it is believed that the last meal shared with his disciples was a Seder meal. Sorry if I misstated that in the original reply.

People underestimate America's work ethic. Yes, we look lazy while we're working, but we did succeed in making the world's most powerful country... and you're now living on the land that "lazy Americans" built.

There's nothing wrong with being an American, you're one of us now, so stop putting our work ethic down. We must have done something right to get where we are...

you seem to credit americas success to some superior "american" race. living on the land that the "americans" built? the only reason the US is what it is today is because we are the gathering place for the hardest working and most talented people from all over the world.

You took my post *completely* the wrong way. Show me where I said anything like that (about an American "race")

The dude moved to America and I told him that he's "one of us" now. We were all immigrants at one time or another, and we all worked for what we have.

He wasn't criticizing any race, he was criticizing Americans. I told him that Americans didn't get to the position they're at by being lazy.

You better be damned sure that you know what you're talking about before you play the race card. Learn to read properly.
