And I seriously look down on everyone who isnt for the war, if your not for the war then you cannot be for the troops. Thing of this, if your not for what they are in Iraq for, your not supporting them. Your opinions are better left unsaid. And frankly 9 times out of 10 you would be there to, if your balls werent the size of pepples. Stop being a selfish "tree hugging hippie" and support our troops. I would give anything to be with them, when they are scared, under fire, and under pressure, every single one of them will turn out to be better people for what they are doing. I salute you. And if your not for the war, move your ass over there and see if you will change your mind. You are worthless in our society, you do nothing but bring us down. Go live in your nice home, comfortably because the US Military will ensure that you are safe, I know you cant do it for yourself. And if you got a problem with what i said send me a PM or reply to this,.. because I always like to hear what scared people like to say, it amuses me. THANKS FOR YOUR TIME.

Bullsh*t! My father who served in the Korean War and who has killed countless NK and Chinese military personal opposes the war. War is hell and you better have a good reason to engage in a war because the implications are great. For instance, now that we have invaded Iraq, whats to say that China will not invade Tawain? Hell, they could come up with a lame excuse to ivade that country and they could say that the Americans did the same thing...

Let me ask. So my father has served for his country, what have you done lately? Have you ever served or were you ever in a war, because if not then your opinion is better left unsaid. Plus, he's not a tree hunging hippie. :|

People like you really p*ss me off.

With that, I wish you a safe return keystroker.

Well, since you specifically asked for a reply...

I seriously look down on anyone who has to resort to name calling and gross generalizations when they feel the need to spread their political blather. OF COURSE you can support the individuals who are called to duty without supporting the REASON they were called. To say otherwise is ludicrous. I have nothing but respect and good wishes for those who make personal sacrifices to fulfill a greater need. But my support for those individuals does NOT require my support for all of the policies they are affected by. The service men and women in our military are not in a position to question their orders, and follow them discretionally. The nature of the military requires a chain of command. You know this. Just because you feel a policy or decision from the top is wrong, doesn't mean that you feel everyone below that point is wrong for following their orders.

Being against this war automatically makes you an environmentalist? A hippie? Poorly endowed? Scared? Do you have any substantial comments to make that don't require grade school balderdash? Just curious? do you agree with every decision and act of every president of our country?

I did my time in the army(2.5 years)/national guard(6 years). Got out in 2000.
Sounds exciting, good luck and be careful.

Yah, no sh!t.

I'm in the military, and let me tell you the reason I joined is so that there could be "tree huggin hippies." I think that they benifit society. I fight so that they have a right to exist. If I didn't see war protests, if I didn't see "tree hugging hippes", I would think something vastly wrong. And I would say the military isn't doing its job.

And you can support the troops and not support the war.
