Glad you're alright dude. Didn't you get robbed before delivering pizza? I'd be moving on to another career.

From your other thread;

I live about 30 minutes away from Chester so I know the area, you really need to expect this delivering pizza around there. Only slightly dumber would be doing it in Camden. It's inevitable and the OP should get another job because it's going to happen again a month from now. Next time they might take your car and the pizza (and the cannolli).

BTW, it's not a black thing, it's not a hispanic thing, it's not a white thing...it's a poor thing.

Jesus is alive.

Back on track good idea to get the hell out of there OP. Glad your ok.

I was stuck on the Belt Pkwy in Brooklyn in traffic but had to make a time so we got off onto local streets... my family... my wife & 2 infants... turns out it was the "East New York" area. My car attracts attention and I got looks at every stop light... this was not a comfortable feeling. I had to drive a good 20 minutes on local streets and that was the most uncomfortable I've been in a while... and I never even got out of my car. GPS should warn of this shit. :D I don't know how you do it.

East New York came to be a commuter town predominantly inhabited by African Americans and Hispanics. It currently has the highest crime rate in all of New York City and is the most dangerous neighborhood in New York city out of all the five boroughs. It has the highest murder rate in New York City.

stay on the major avenues and you'll be fine :p

Damn, with a name like Chester I never would have guessed it was a ghetto.

Lol, when I ended up in Chester, England, a beautiful town largely built on top of an old Roman built wall, I gleefully sent all of my boyhood friends back home postcards from "Chester"!

NM-I realize you were talking about the diagram. Still, I got banned for a month for saying two of the words you used in that post.

Once again it sounds like the pizza delivery business is really working out for you. Two robberies and a near $2k repair bill for your car within a month and a half or so.

Glad that you are okay and glad that you quit. It is somewhat amazing the cops were able to help out that quickly.

Maybe so, but what good would it have done in this particular case? He's got a pizza in one hand, sodas in the other, and before he knew it, he had a gun in his face. How would a concealed weapon have helped?

This situation ended in the absolute best way possible as-is...the OP got away, unharmed.

I take it the address was fake? Or was there really a house at the address?

CHESTER TOWNSHIP ? A suspect in the armed robbery of a pizza deliveryman was nabbed after his cell phone number showed up on the caller ID at Domino?s Pizza. Aaron J. Shelton allegedly set up the robbery Tuesday night by phoning in an order for pizza, coke and chicken wings using his personal cell phone. He gave an address in the 4000 block of Gideon Road for the food delivery, then he and another man waited, according to the affidavit of probable cause written by Officer James Mullen. When the deliveryman showed up around 9:53 p.m., Shelton approached him, pointed a black handgun at him and ordered him to hand over his money, the affidavit states. The pizza man put down the hot bag, put $20 on top of the bag and stepped back. He saw a second man come out from the shadows and both suspects pick up the money and the food, according to the affidavit. The deliveryman fled and called 911. When police checked with Domino?s Pizza, they obtained the cell phone number and its owner?s name and address. Shelton, of the 4000 block of Worrilow Road, Chester Township, is being held on $250,000 cash bail after his arraignment by Senior Magisterial District Judge Kenneth Miller. Police are still searching for Shelton?s accomplice. ? CINDY SCHARR
