I am wondering what, exactly, coopereative meant in that context. I mean, you didn't have a choice in pulling over, and I doubt you helped him fix his radiator or something.

Heh, I got pulled over for a tail light out on my camper on the way back from the NJ State Fair a couple weekends ago. I didn't even realize that my inspection had expired; for some reason, I was thinking it was December (which is the date on the other van.) 99 times out of a 100, a trooper is going to write that up as a ticket as well. Since I was as polite and honest as could be, he only gave me a ticket for the tail light, which cost nothing if repaired before dusk the following night. I even gave the trooper a business card & told him to bring his kids by the farm some day
