He said since I was so cooperative he was only going to give me a warning.
I have been warned.

Pffft...thats nothing. I was pulled over doing 40 in a 25 and only got a warning too...but I was in a school zone.

I got pulled over for doing 52 in a 15. In a parking lot. I got off scott-free because I gave the cop a good story (one that would be relatively boring to ATOT).

You are lucky. In most states 15mph or more over is considered reckless driving which equals more points off & a bigger fine than speeding.

It's amazing what kind of situations a little flash of ballsack will get you out of. That's why I always wear shorts. 85 degree weather might have something to do with it as well, but it's mostly for quick gonadal access.

It's that sultry blend of convenient access and erotic appeal! Then add a stranger in a "cop uniform" who'll let you touch his gun, well . . .

Reno 911 ;)

That officer should be fired. You could've killed a lot of people.

He could have killed lots of people while driving _under_ the speed limit too.

Lucky. My dad got nailed doing 44 in a 25 in PA. We were visiting from FL. Speed went down to 25 at the bottom of a hill where the cop was waiting. No sympathy from this cop, even though we were from out of state and didn't know the area. Got the ticket and 4 points.

Fixed.

That's the easiest target there is. It guarantees that you're more likely to get caught, and almost assured to pay the fine because you're not going to drive back to the state to contest the ticket.

ZOMG!!! Where are all of the people that say you shouldn't be cooperative/nice to a cop? The OP could have been busted and sent to jail or even have been given a ticket!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now that they know olds knows where they live, they tend to keep a much lower profile. Funny how that works.

what story?

I basically told the cop that I wanted to see how high the radar-sign-tells-you-your-speed thingy would go. He gave me my license back and said that in the future I should leave the sign testing to the police officers.

Were you in a neighborhood?
Yes, residential.

Why would you speed in a neighborhood, could have hit a kid or something.

Shut up.

They should call you dicko..

did you think of that one all by yourself?

More thinking than you can handle apparently.
