For example, one person has 2 numbers. I set the cell as the primary number, therefore, the house phone is secondary.

I haven't lost any ringtones or pictures so far...

That's what I thought you meant, but I wanted to be sure.
They are there, you just have them hidden. Highlight an entry that should have multiple entries. Then use the right arrow on your pad to change to the next entry.

EDIT: Did you have some entries saved to your sim?

I love my razr. My only problem with it is the whacky moto phonebook software. It splits the numbers of poeple into seperate entries, I wish it would be all kept under one entry. Oh well.

You clearly didn't RTFM like 99.99% of the people who knock moto software. Go to phonebook setup, and change view to Primary Contacts.

Heh. That's why I said some of them disappeared. I know how to switch between them.

None are saved to the SIM.

I'm sure you've already gotten it ready to be shipped back then. Hopefully the next one will work.

Update 2

Sigh... The problem with my address book is apparently resolved. I have to assume it has to do with me connecting to my computer via the USB cable.

NOW, I have a brand new problem. Starting yesterday, if I let my phone sit unused for a couple hours, the screen goes black. It won't reset. I have to remove the damn battery to reboot it.

My buddy warned me about Motorola phones. I guess I should've listened...

I had Sprint for 3 years. The customer service was ok. The reception was crap. I chose what I chose because:

1. Cingular's coverage in my area is pretty darn good, and they offer rollover minutes.
2. Most of my buddies are w/ Cingular (mobile to mobile).
3. I liked the Razr. Most complaints I saw were about lack of features...which is fine by me. It's a phone. I don't need all the flashy features of others.

One person I know (IRL) has complained about Motorola phones. I figured he was an exception.

And before anyone whines that the razr is GSM and VZW is CDMA, google "Motorola Razr V3c"

most likely the firmware will not be cross compatable since the v3c has different hardware (camera, cdma, etc)

I've had mine since they first came out. I'm not really into playing around with phones but I haven't had any real issues with it aside from my uploaded mp3s becoming corrupt and a few general gripes. for example, when using speaker phone and using an automated service where you have to enter numbers, if you enter a number while speaker phone is on and press the button you would normally press to go back to non-speaker phone it mutes the call. It's extrmemely annoying to have to delete all the numbers while going through service menus and being on hold for an hour.

This man speaks the truth. By the way, I also have an e815, and it's a quality piece of work.
