I have a geforce 3 ti 200 right now. What do I need to do before I install this? Does the detonator destroyer work well for removing old drivers. BTW this is a 1.0 model of it.

just uninstand the nvidia drivers, shut down and boot up with the ati card and install the latest drivers first, then the control panel, reboot and you are ready to go. it is only if you pull the geforce without uninstalling the drivers that can turn things into a living nightmare. if you play it smart you will be just fine. ;)

I can't believe you guys get all worked up over the color of the card!
You install the card, put the side panel on and it disappears, or at least should if you care about RFI from the processor radiating all over from a non shielded enclosure!

lol, well i wouldn't say i "get all worked up over it" by any means. it is simply that i have seen the firegl cards and it is a rather pleasant shade of green; furthermore, i was under the assumption that all the "built by ati" radeons were red. on a side note, i tend to play around with my hardware configuration quite a bit and i still can't help but be impressed with the beautiful blue color of my gigabyte motherboard. while color of the pcb plays absolutely no role in my purchasing decisions i see no harm appreciating the novelty of such things.

holy crap this thing is amazing. I got 13k on 3dmark 2k1, and 4555 on 2k3, without overclocking a thing! Wow what a jump from my geforce 3 ti 200. I can only imagine how high I will get when I tweak like a madman this weekend. What a card! (just so you know this is the first one i've tested, if not obvious yet)

Yeah, well its a weekday and I don't really have time to fire anything up. I can't wait to play battlefield 1942 and UT 2k3 all maxed out...
